Sideboard

This deck, as my all other edh decks, is made from my edh cube + side board (which holds value cards that are not so good in cube). You can find my cube through my profile.

This deck has been one of my favourites for a long time and I've built a lot of different versions of this. This is the latest build which holds a lot more money than the previous one ( ;__; ).

This deck has 2 main win conditions which are as follows:

  1. Throwing in big bombs with either Show and Tell (in to Omniscience or big shit) or Oath of Druids .
  2. Doubling Season + Planeswalkers

Rest of the cards are there to support the build.

I play in a heavy combo and stax meta so I have a few cards you might want to think through before you put them in.

Removal: I have changed a lot of good removal cards to more situational low mana cost spells like Nature's Claim. If you think your meta is slow enough so you can actually build the mana for a Beast Within you should go for it. I also run kinda low mana cost counterspells and other removal (Arcane Denial, Pongify, Chain of Vapor). We also play only a few amount of creatures so my only mass removal for solely creatures is Toxic Deluge. Once again, if your meta is slow enough go ahead and change it to something like Damnation.

Card draw: For the same reasons as above I run small mana card draw like Mystic Remora , Sign in Blood and Night's Whisper. But I also like to pick some solid card draws, since if the stax gets a hold they become indispensable. Bounty of the Luxa , Phyrexian Arena and Rhystic Study are good examples of those cards.

Mana ramp: Mostly I have solid ramps, but Carpet of Flowers you need to think through for obvious reasons. Grim Monolith, Mana Vault and Dark Ritual are also something you might not need in a slower meta.

Disruption: We run a lot of artifact mana ramp (I tried to cut them out from mine as much as I could) so I decided to run Null Rod.

Miscellaneous: Manabond is an interesting fella that has great synergy with Damia, Sage of Stone or Life from the Loam. Not sure is it worth it, but it's fun. Same is for The Great Aurora. I like the card so I play it, but not sure is it worth the mana or the slot. You should also be aware that I play Crucible of Worlds and Life from the Loam solely for the purpose that we have a lot of land destruction in our meta. Those cards are not worth the slot otherwise IMO. I wouldn't have ran Manabond without Life from the Loam, or Crucible of Worlds without all the 9 fetch lands. Brainstorm and Sensei's Divining Top are both also in because of the fetch lands. If you decide to pick one of these pieces out, remember to take out the whole family. I might also run too few lands for Burgeoning to work well enough. Needs testing.

But yeah that's about it. This is kind of competitivish deck for those who don't want to run infinite combos but want to still have a chance at those high end combo tables.

Please leave comments and feedback. If you think something doesn't work that well you can say it - propositions are very welcome.
