All cards must contain red or blue mana symbols and only those colors. So thinks like Armed / Dangerous
and Boros Reckoner
should be taken out. Forgot to add that.

Sorry dude but the cards with split mana cost are illegal for your EDH if they contain any color besides U or R. Boros Reckoner , Pit Fight , Burning-Tree Emissary , and Armed / Dangerous or the offenders here.

hmmm.... did not know that. that will definitely make a difference in the deck....see? this is why i love this site.... anything else i have missed?

City of ass is an unhinged card. If Im not mistaken they are still illegal in EDH use. If they arn't I would love to know, I have a Letter Bomb that would be funny.

By reading the first paragraph and following the handy link it actually brings you here. (http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php) where under the tab of deck construction in item 7 there is a line that states its played using "vintage legal cards" which does not include unhinged cards. Though it is a casual format and through some quick research it seems to be a slightly debated topic best discussed with your play group. Unfortunately for me I doubt my play group will let me get away with it.

Honestly since all of us that play just play for fun i dont think it will be an issue. hell the guy that introduced me to the format has 10-15 decks prebuilt that he brings for people to use. and a large chunk of them have multiple proxy cards in them. I have seen this particular card in several of his decks that we have used as well. beyond casual play just for fun i dont really know about it. i dont plan on playing in any commander tourneys so no biggie... :D

Indeed and if thats the case then defiantly more power to you. I wish I had a group that took it that lightly. Too many hyper competitive players at my local FNM I think Letter Bomb would make for a hilarious game.

that is most definitely an awesome card... lol.... and yeah the FNM guys are super hardasses at my store too(unfortunately i am one of those guys as well lol).... but i am growing to love the commander format on tuesdays and sundays... this is mainly because i have been getting discouraged a bit about losing a lot and i want to kind of focus on playing for fun more than just to win... :D

Thats exactly what I love about Commander matchs. We usually get at least 5-6 players so there's always a lot going on but it makes for some really crazy games. I would suggest Diluvian Primordial he's practically built for the setting as are the rest of them.

because the deck is built from cards that i have. with the exception of some of the land cards i have in it, i have every card in the deck. as i am playing commander for nothing more than just to have fun im not really buying anything to play... :D

I thought about running Isochron Scepter in my izzet EDH too but i was worried about how often I'd be able to imprint it with something considering the requirement of 2 or less in a 100 card singleton deck. Maybe I'm just reading to much into it and it will turn out to be crazy awesome or something. I've recently posted my Izzet EDH and would love some advice on it from another Izzed EDH runner. Especially with the same commander.

rampant growth, cultivate, kodama's reach, skyshroud claim, boundless growth, explositve vegetation, reap and sow, journey to discovery, explore, harrow, and thats what i can come up with right now but this might get you on the right tracks
Oracle of mul daya can help you play those lands faster, lotus cobra gives you twice the mana, etc
oh, and things like seething song can help too in a pinch

So, looking through the deck I've noticed that there are an adequate number of dragons, which I find awesome, since I'm a big fan of just-for-fun EDH decks, as I run a Borborygmos Enraged EDH myself. However, you'll find that even fun decks like this can be not-so-fun when you mana screw and can't play anything.
There are some pretty high-costing sorceries that you could give up for more mana ramp, such as taking out Alpha Brawl and Blood Feud (which have high costs with kinda underwhelming abilities in EDH) and replacing them with things like Skyshroud Claim (which can pull out Stomping Ground and Breeding Pool ) and Explosive Vegetation . Also, consider some EDH staples for mana such as Coalition Relic , Thran Dynamo , Sol Ring , etc.
Also, I've noticed there are a lot of Devouring dragons but not many thing that are there to be devoured. Consider throwing in some Goblin Fodder, Mitotic Slime and other nice token spawning things. There are tons in both green and red.
Lastly, you've got a ton of nice dragons but I think some of them aren't really necessary, like Furnace Dragon . With only one artifact in your deck, he'd be a hefty 8 mana or exiled with Intet in the best case scenario, which even in a deck like this would be really difficult. I'd consider running a Hoard-Smelter Dragon instead, cheaper and still able to take down annoying artifacts.
On a final note, I believe Sarkhan Vol would love to be in this deck. Just saying.
So, as a fellow casual EDH player, I bid thee good luck on your deck and I hope I helped out a good bit! :D

i put this together by basically researching out and going through EVERY single dragon card available on star city. my idea for devouring was 2fold... Dragon Broodmother
= Utvara Hellkite
= MORE than enough tokens being generated to be eaten.
as far as Furnace Dragon goes. he is not in there for his artifact reduction mana cost. he is in there for the purpose that the folks that i play commander with use a Shitton of artifacts. he comes into play and BAM... I just blew up every artifact on the field. last night in a match i played there were 43 artifacts on the field under the control of 3 opponents at one point in the game. so you can see how this would quickly undermine my opponents' mana ramping and shenanigans with artifacts.
and that planeswalker is a definite addition... i like that one... :D
(not to sound like i dont like your advice or anything BC i definitely do. but the reason i wont put any other creatures in the deck is just because it would ruin my 'dragons only" rule that i set out for this deck when i started. :D )

Gotcha, I was thinking that when I mentioned Mitotic Slime . Hence why I offered another dragon in the place of the Furnace Dragon . Sounds like a solid plan, just make sure you've got enough mana to cast 'em! xD
Yeah, the Dragon Broodmother //Utvara Hellkite idea DOES spawn a frickton of tokens when used correctly. As far as getting them out before all your devourers come into your hand, Signal the Clans and Worldly Tutor have got to be my two favorite creature fetchers and I believe they are both rather cheap in both mana cost and actual money. (Check StarCity or TCGPlayer 'cause sometimes TappedOut prices are just really off.) (Also, I play Gruul a lot, can you tell?)
Finally, just as one casual EDH player to another, consider these as beneficial yet kinda silly cards for great multiplayer shenanigans.Rites of Flourishing is a great card. Additional land and additional cards, what more could you want? It's in my Borby deck and is a great way to empty your hand of land, as well as get more cards into your hand, since card advantage is vital in EDH. Also it's a nice turn-3 reason for you not to get targeted first in multiplayer.Omen Machine is by far one of my favorite cards in EDH, because it just makes the game so chaotic. Basically, instead of drawing, each player casts the top card of his or her library for free. Not only does it whip out those massive dragons for you, but it also completely shuts down card-draw blue EDH decks in one fell swoop. Not too shabby, eh?Forced Fruition is one I've only thought about in theory. Tons of cards for everyone, too many cards to the point of milling everyone out. The game becomes a race to see who can deal all the damage first! Or which one thought to bring a Reliquary Tower or Spellbook .
So those are some additional suggestions in case you like mayhem, maybe not for this deck but just for future consideration. xD

actually like the Signal the Clans
1 and Worldly Tutor
cards.... those need to find a place in this deck. if i can determine which dragons i play first... ooo boy... lol.
also Possibility Storm was my other mana saver. with that card on the field, i play a Slumbering Dragon for one red but i dont play that one... instead i dig through the top of my deck find a much more badass heavy hitter dragon and he comes into play instead... PLUS that renders countermagic null and void.... :D

Kodama's Reach , Cultivate , Nature's Lore , Skyshroud Claim , and Search for Tomorrow are all excellent and inexpensive ramp spells to add.

In commander you can only run the colors that your general is, so anything that does not have red or blue should be taken out.
