Breaking the Meta of Storm

Normally I wouldnt try and build a deck around a single card, however with the amount of value you can get off of it, Ovalchase Daredevil is easily the most powerful combo card released in the set of Kaladesh. Unlike Squee, Goblin Nabob which in the past I tried to do something similar with, there are NO TIME RESTRICTIONS. Obviously just like Squee, there is the downfall of grave-hate that literally wrecks these cards, however I want to focus on making a viable deck in attempts to breakup the meta of storm; Lets worry about cards like Leyline of the Void and Relic of Progenitus later.

How the F*&$ in this an uncommon?

Lets look past Ovalchase Daredevil mana cost and body for a minute here and focus on this tiny bit of text here: "Whenever an artifact enters the battlefield under your control, you may return Ovalchase Daredevil from your graveyard to your hand." It doesn't even care if its nontoken its not even return at the beginning or end of turn, it enters it returns. Every time I discard this to some wheel effect I can essentially play a Myr Retriever to get back all the copies discarded this way to net positive card advantage. Just as another example I could play Trail of Evidence with Ovalchase Daredevil in a deck and now everytime I cast an instant or sorcery I get back all copies of Ovalchase Daredevil from my graveyard. So broken. much wow.

How does this deck win?

This will be updated as I test the different constructions of this deck. At the moment you win damage from Grapeshot and/or Fateful Showdown I'm also going to be testing a variation with Splendid Reclamation and Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle since wheel effects like throwing things into the grave. The deck wants Krark-Clan Ironworks and a Myr Retriever with 1 Myr Retriever in the graveyard to get infinite storm count and return as many copies of Ovalchase Daredevil to hand. The deck also functions very well with Locket of Yesterdays and using Infernal Plunge on your Myr Moonvessel or just casting Inner Fire with the large card advantage you will accumulate in some games and using that with Past in Flames As I test more, I will find be able to develop a better deck list.

What do you think?

Do you think this is viable? Have a card suggestion? Think this is never going to work? Leave a comment below. Even just thoughts on Ovalchase Daredevil I love the card but I think R&D was high when they conceived it.
