Been a while since I put any decks together, but a few months ago I picked up the 2017 commander decks and found this gem of a planeswalker contained within one of them. At first he was just another piece in a revamped deck built around Animar and colorless creatures but it didn't feel right. I already have an Animar deck and building a whole deck around just abusing Animar's ability to make creatures potentially cast for zero felt...incomplete. I wanted something more.

And so was born the deck you see here. At first comprised of a mish-mash of artifacts I owned I ponied up some cash and put this beast together. It's not a rush deck, it doesn't overrun my opponents (unless I get lucky), it doesn't slow the game down by chipping away at my enemies only preventing the inevitable. No. It's all about graveyard recursion, self-milling my cards into my graveyard and outlasting my opponents. Go ahead, board wipe me, I'll have it all back in a turn, I don't really care. And if I don't manage to flood the board with dozens of pentavites, triskelavites and thopters I'll just drop a darksteel forge, fetch for a disk and board wipe until everyone scoops. Or I'll mill you out instead, it's always a side option. And if I get really lucky I'll loop out for direct damage to the face that never ends until everyone but me is dead.
