this deck is suppose to be an add on to Daretti's backstory. after he went on to learn on artifacts on other planes he built himself a factory, with the help of other goblins, and is now a master metalsmith. he works with only pure minerals, good old fashion coal and iron. none of the aether stuff that caused a revolt in kaladesh. and of course like all factories it takes a while to get going but when it gets going it gets going. it don't stop for no one. sure the aether machines and vehicles can start up much faster with raw energy from the aether but with such a valuable resource it is bound to run out. luckily for daretti his factory is nowhere near kaladesh so that way he wont get in the middle of the revolution that had stirred up. and lets be honest here, coal and iron is allot more powerful than aether and energy. this deck is part of a large story which will be told through out the decks just follow the links.

Chapter 1: after losing his legs in the explosion of his own creation, Daretti began to search the multiverse for ways to improve on his artifice sills. he then found the Plane Mirrodin. to him, that Plane was a dream world. as he explored this newfound Plane he saw the Great Furnace and to top it all, it was ran by goblins. the goblins who were there saw Daretti and saw him as a master artificer due to his cogwork machine so they made him leader of the tribe. after being taken to the Great Furnace Daretti saw potential here and trained the goblins to mine for the iron and coal that laid underground. he used the coal and iron that was mined to make weapons and other artifact creatures. but the Great Furnace was much too slow to process all the iron being smelted. so he had the goblins make a large warehouse and make an assembly line so things can go by quicker. the Great Furnace had evolved into a factory. but then Daretti realized something. he had all these weapons but no army. he needed an army to use all these beautiful weapons. he had heard rumors back on Nyx that there was a legendary hammer that was once owned by the God of the Forge. so leaving his trusty second in command, Kurkesh, in charge, Daretti planeswalked to Nyx to find this legendary hammer. Nyx was in ruins from a conflict that he did not know of. after finding the hammer he planeswalked back to Mirrodion and started turning the landscape into terra cotta warriors. but at the same time he tries to preserve the land so he would have enough resources to continue his production. if at any point he were to run out of resources the factory could come to a halt. he soon got to test out his factroy in the fields of war. but after taking a big loss in the field of war Daretti realizes that his terra cotta army may not be enough to defend his factory. so he sold a few of his tools to recruit some renegade goblins and buy a few blueprints for new artifact creatures. he hopes that with his new army and blueprints he can create an army in shorter time and with less resources. he knows that Kaladesh is rich in artifacts and AEther but he does not want to get in the middle of the revolution that is now in full force. so he just stays on his plane of Mirrodion and makes the best of what he has to work with. Kurkesh has been a big help to him but there is still no way to help him make his factory go faster. at least, not without dipping into the AEther reservoir on Kaladesh. but that would cause a lot of problems. problems, Daretti does not want to deal with. that was the main reason he made the factory on Mirrodion and not Kaladesh. hopefully he can find the answer to his problems. lucky for him he found his answer. on 5/15/17 there was a big goblin propaganda and that meant a huge goblin deployment. Daretti took this opportunity to recruit more goblins for his factory and also try and reduce the maintenance of it so he could get things out for cheaper. grant it there are still a few expensive tools in the factory such as the lamp and colossus but he has ways of getting those out when he needs them. during the propaganda he met a goblin artificer by the name of Slobad. Slobad was a really good metalsmith and Daretti thought he would make a nice worker for the factory. with his now bigger army he can now utilize his equipment and able to be more aggressive but at the same time he wants to be more defensive so he can rally his army and not look like a huge threat to anyone. one day Daretti was reviewing the numbers one day for his factory and he saw that his land count is really low as of late. this was not a good sign. with very few lands he could not pay for a bunch of his high costing artifacts. so with allot of thought Daretti decided to sell off a couple of his things to hopefully make up for lost lands. among those was his Colossus of Akros and his Aladdin's Lamp. but it still was not enough. he had to sell more things. but what? almost everything he owned costed 3 or less. he decided to fire the Bearer of the Heavens. with three high costing cards out of the picture that lead to Daretti having 32 lands. it was stil kinda low but with things costing 3 or less it would be enough for now. recently Krenko, Mob Boss lead a raid to newly discovered Dominaria and brought back goodies for everyone. Daretti used a few of these and gave the rest to the other goblin leaders. having found a reliable dealer, Daretti was ready to upgrade. with time and funds he built the Three Urza Lands. with them he is now able to get more resources faster. and using leftover funds he fortified the factory with cannons that are capable of firing excess junk. however the speed of his production has lead to serious problems from the Smokestack. but to him, it's a good trade off
