Have you considered cards like Mana Crypt ? (Mana rocks that cause pain, there are a few out there.)

Mana Crypt is a card I'd love to have in the deck, but $60 for a card is a little crazy for me. Alternatively, I've been thinking of acquiring a Mana Vault but I can't stand the art so I've never been eager to get it. Healer of the Pride was in the deck for a little bit, but I took it out and I haven't had any problems so far finding a Soul Warden by the time I want Darien out.

Sun Titan goes infinite with Angelic Renewal . Reveillark goes infinite with Karmic Guide . Crackdown is fantastic in mono white. If you're going for a sub lifegain theme Academy Rector into Test of Endurance is pretty wack. card:Conqueror's Pledge is a must include for soldier tokens. card:Konda's Banner is great equipment for tribal EDH. Veteran Armorsmith and Veteran Swordsmith may interest you. Cloudgoat Ranger or Knight-Captain of Eos go infinite with card:Ashnod's Altar + Nim Deathmantle . Loxodon Gatekeeper is extremely annoying soldier control. Cryptic Gateway goes infinite with Stormfront Riders . Last but not least, no Door of Destinies ?

I don't know, I don't have many suggestions even though I read your description I don't get what you're trying to accomplish. How exactly are you winning? Just pinging yourself for 1/1 tokens? Do you scoop to a resolved AEther Flash ? Not to knock you but I just don't see how this deck gets there as is.

Well Crackdown is a card I'll definitely need to make room for. I love the synergy it has with card:Angel's Trumpet, and it seems like it can hold its own in this deck. To cater to crackdown, Loxodon Gatekeeper should probably come in too. The reason Door of Destinies is not in here is because the type I would want to choose is soldier, however I only have 9 right now (10 with the gatekeeper). I don't think I would play the door unless I had closer to 20% of the deck that creature type. As it is I would give all my humans a boost and I don't think that would be correct.

That is an awful lot of infinite combos there haha. I've been playing with the idea of testing Blasting Station so I could fuel card:Cathars' Crusade and Goldnight Commander as well as maybe infinite life with 2 Soul Warden s. I had card:Ashnod's Altar and Dingus Staff for a short while, but (a) my deck doesn't tutor that well for non-creatures, so these combo's are unreliable, and (b) I stop having fun when I go infinite so most of the time I just don't try to assemble the pieces.

I'll think hard about card:Konda's Banner, I feel I have enough anthems already as my tokens are hardly ever just 1/1's, in fact I'll be adding another when I swap card:Angel of Glory's Rise for card:Marshal's Anthem.

I've never seen AEther Flash before now :P I definitely do have answers to it, return to dust, eldrazi monument, akroma's vengeance, austere command and other pump effects would do the job. This deck can definitely do work, at least from my experience, that I'm usually the first target in a multiplayer game in my playgroup.

You have Eldrazi Monument, why not add Akroma's Memorial?

Check out Sphere of Safety instead of Ghostly Prison. Being an enchantment itself,the shpere will make your opponents pay 1 for each attacking creature by default.

Hmmm, I never considered Sphere of Safety before now. I'm a little hesitant to replace Ghostly Prison especially since the Sphere needs another enchantment to be on par with the Prison. That said I have had Windborn Muse come in and out and I think Sphere of Safety competes with her. I'll keep an eye out for the card and pay close attention to how many enchantments this deck has out regularly. Land Tax and Intangible Virtue I usually play out when I draw them, but cards like card:Cathars' Crusade and Angelic Chorus are a lot more important to this deck so they are going to be kept safe in hand until I think my opponents won't immediately kill them.

Might want to splash in some self damage things as well. Maybe Staff of Nin or Jinxed Idol and it a nice one for group love Ankh of Mishra .

This is going to be my next general after I finish my Red/Green EDH that I am working on so I am always looking for good builds and I like yours. Kudos.

I like the versatility of your deck but I suggest streamlining it a bit more to interact with the commander. Do you want to be attacked and get tokens? Or do you want to discourage attacks? It's not so clear to me.
If you want multiplayer shenanigans with Darien, I strongly suggest Jade Idol! It allows you to play politics with your opponents and makes each combat a nightmare for your true enemies at the table.
For additional surprise punch i suggest Goldnight Commander.
For more soldier tribal theme, there is Catapult Master, Daru Warchief and Captain of the Watch.

Thanks for the suggestion smatikanita. The goal of the deck is to deal myself damage through lands (8 total help with that), and with artifacts like Staff of Nin , Angel's Trumpet , Mana Crypt and Jade Monolith . I've also recently added Bullwhip to help persuade the biggest creature to attack. Ghostly Prison and Knight-Captain of Eos are here so I limit the possibility of an alpha strike of damage 40. I did head your advice because I've been hearing it from others too and take out Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker and Windborn Muse in favor of cards more synergistic with Darien.

I'm not sure how Jade Idol helps me, did you mean Jinxed Idol ? If so I find that card cute but unexciting for me. I already have Goldnight Commander in the deck as a second Cathars' Crusade . I tried Catapult Master a while back and he wasn't that great. Most of the time when I have a bunch of soldiers out I'm in a winning position and only a wrath stops me. I think he would be a lot better for me if I had more soldiers that weren't tokens made bu Darien. For that same reason Daru Warchief is an expensive Honor of the Pure and Captain of the Watch is an expensive Intangible Virtue . The three soldiers she makes is nice, but I can usually get that just by making mana.

About the Lords: I'd not weigh them againts each other but rather see them as redundant ways to achieve the goal of making your tokens bigger.
We're speaking of 100 cards, so it's not given that you'll always have that Honor of the Pure and Intangible Virtue

Yeah she was great when she was in the deck, although I think I want to keep in the Memorial. All of the abilities on it are relevant at some time when it's in play. I have been playing with the idea of cutting Gauntlet of Power since I only have 16 basics, but I do have many ways to fetch multiple copies of them at once so I usually have at least 7 for Emeria and having 7+ extra mana the next turn is still good value. Plus its a pump effect for my soldiers. Darksteel Plate is also a consideration if Avacyn comes back in but that's probably wrong. Thanks for bringing Avacyn back into discussion, I'll drop Helm of Possession for her atm since I was going to for Archangel of Thune.

But what i don't see in here are land ramp, or even mana tutors. I don't know if you'd want to go this route due to the fact that you want to lay low until mid-late game, but here are some of my suggestions anyways.

• Weathered Wayfarer
• Mistveil Plains
• Suture Priest

Well those are my suggestions. Come check out my mono-white deck, it uses tokens and flickering things in and out to mess around with people, while also comboing off other ETB stuff I have. Let me know what you think.

Crovax's Mono-White Bouncers EDH

I don't know how hard you looked onigirumo, I'm running Armillary Sphere , Expedition Map , Land Tax , Gift of Estates , Tithe , Weathered Wayfarer , and Thawing Glaciers . I had Solemn Simulacrum in the deck for a while, however, I moved to an area where not many people are playing lad ramp and Weathered Wayfarer is so amazing in this deck at getting Tarnished Citadel and Ancient Tomb and Vesuva , etc that I have purposefully avoided playing Kor Cartographer effects. Suture Priest is a nice secondary Soul Warden but I find that it gets hated on really early so I can't play it turn two and expect it to survive to turn six. I think I have enough life gain already in the deck that neglecting one Soul Warden-y card is okay.

Well looking at those cards you mentioned, they mostly put it into your hand. I was suggesting cards that placed them into the battlefield, so you can play a bigger spell on the following turn.

I would strongly suggest runnin Jinxed Ring in this deck, I run it in mine and it usually saves me when people try to kill my tokens.Also works amazingly with Cathars' Crusade an if you happen to get a Blasting Station out with darien and souls attendant/warden it's good game on the spot

I've also been dreaming of running Karma and Urborg, Tomb of YawgmothJust to see people's faces when I lay down the tomb followed by karma lol

Just so you're aware, your inclusion of Flooded Strand, Boseiju, Who Shelters All, and Windswept Heath do not trigger Darien's ability to make tokens. Those count as paying life which is not the same as damage. Unless the fetches are in there solely for deck thinning they would be better off being replaced with basic Plains. Same goes for the Boseiju, Who Shelters All, unless of course you find its ability to come in handy more often than not.

FourDoughnut, it looks like Jinxed Ring errata'd so that it doesn't trigger on tokens hitting the graveyard. Still useful in the deck, just not in the way you're thinking and not nearly as powerful.
