Lore of the Deck

Darigaaz, defender of Dominaria, is the legitimate Heir to the Shivan Nation. He was known to gather and lead the Primeval Dragons to fight against the Phyrexian Invasion. Nevertheless, he was betrayed by his fellows, as they didn’t have any remorse to kill other dragons to achieve their purpose.

“Sacrificing mortal dragons to satisfy your immortal hunger ends here.” —Darigaaz, to Rith

Darigaaz didn’t hesitate to sacrifice himself to lessen the power of the other Primeval Dragons, when he saw that their true intentions were to establish a tyrany over Dominaria.

Now Darigaaz has reborn, ready to protect his Plane and the whole Multiverse again.

Strategy of the Deck

This is a Jund (black, red and green) tribal deck whose theme is dragons. It is designed to ramp in the first turns with cards like Sol Ring, Cultivate or Dragonspeaker Shaman so we can start casting our dragons faster. Many cards have been chosen to fit the lore of the deck too.

Combos and Sinergies

• Lathliss, Dragon Queen + Dragon Tempest: Dragon token creation that deals direct damage to the opponent.

• Utvara Hellkite + Rhythm of the Wild: As the dragon gains haste, it can create tokens the same turn you cast it.

I’m currently working on this deck, so I’m still trying to find the combos and sinergies in it.
