I played this deck at FNM for the first time last night. I went 3-0-1 on the night and finished in 2nd place. Match 1 was against Mardu Midrange. It included some similar cards in Utter End and Butcher of the Horde, but ran Seeker of the Way in the 2 drop spot. I won that match 2-1. The loss was somewhat due to not taking a mulligan when I should have and flooding out. Match 2 I played Dark Jeskai. It was basically a mirror, but instead of Dragonlord Ojutai and Butcher of the Horde he played Mantis Rider, Soulfire Grand Master, and some number of Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. This match ended in a draw after I won game 1 quickly. We then got into a long, grindy game 2 where he had the upper hand, but I could have possible held on for a bit longer to see if the tides changed, but I chose to scoop and start Game 3 to hopefully avoid the draw. Game 3 started with 11 minutes left in the round. We played quickly but began a never ending battle between opposing Dragonmaster Outcasts and accompanying 5/5 Dragon tokens, and Kolaghan's Commands to bring a dead Dragonmaster back to hand. Match 3 was against a budget G/W Hardened Scales deck. I won this match fairly easily at 2-0, though game 2 was pretty grindy thanks to the Suspension Fields and Silkwraps he sideboarded in. It was fun to use a Kolaghan's Command to kill my own 4/4 Hangarback Walker in response to his Silkwrap, and having him discard a card when he only had two left in hand. KG is soooo good and sooo much value! Match 4 I got paired up with a guy who knew the matchup wasn't good, or so he said, I don't know what he was running. He asked if I wanted to take a draw. I said I'd rather play it out since I'm play testing this deck and wanted to play as many games as I could. He didn't want to play it out and conceded the match. Pretty unfortunate, but I still left feeling good about the deck. I have some changes in mind that I'll make soon, both in the MB and SB.
