Zagras may actually be easier to slot in regardless of "party" mechanics thanks to Sorin. I think he's a good compliment to lots of low-cost aggressive vamps given the inceased number of viable walkers in Modern now. For a big beater that you can just drop via Sorin's -3 I'd look at Chancellor of the Dross .
Also I can't help but feel like Zagras makes a particularly terrifying partner for Stromkirk Captain .

Followup thoughts: You kind of already have the trifecta of level 1 vamps here being Viscera, Noble and Ebon Legion along with Bloodghast. I personally prefer to go one or the other between straight up aggressive or the more Aristocrats style sacrifice engine. Myself, I'd replace Highborn or maybe Cordial with Gatekeeper of Malakir and/or Gifted Aetherborn . Though between Sorin, Zagras and Ebon you already have a lot of deathtouch going around.
Other big creatures to consider: Vampire Nocturnus because you have fetch lands and Seer + Ghast, Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet who has excellent synergy with the first strike + deathtouch interaction, and Champion of Dusk . Not a big fan of Yahenni here (Love him in EDH but trying to do too many things in Modern makes it feel cluttered).
Non-creature support: I like including Mutavault and Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth . Terminate is a good Rakdos creature hate spell that can be easily swapped for Dreadbore in your side game 2 if necessary. Maybe up your Thoughtseize count or toss in 2-3 Inquisition of Kozilek .

It feels kind of unfocused still. idk if Anowon or Nirkana Revenant are the best Sorin -3 targets. If you want big vamps in monoblack to drop via Sorin, Champion of Dusk , Malakir Bloodwitch , Bloodlord of Vaasgoth and Chancellor of the Dross are probably better choices, and the really good vamps should be 4-ofs. At least up Ebon to 4. That card is seriously good. Also in place of Yahenni I'd add 2 Captivating Vampire , and add one Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx if you're going the monocolor route.
Neat trick you can pull off completely free is using Urborg to sit on your fetch lands and tap them for mana until you need to force a shuffle for Nocturnus or to revive Bloodghast.
Agadeem's Awakening is fine. I think it's a good card that can be a land in an emergency. I run 1 in my Pioneer vamps.
Oh and seriously try out Mutavault . It's good. Also Monoblack wants Castle Locthwain .

YamishiTheWickedOne knows vampires and made some really good suggestions. Based off the suggestion, I’m gonna jam a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx in my build.

ok, Whitelionq and SefTheReject
Vamps getting some new toys.
Callous Bloodmage is honestly a really good vamp. His third effect turns him into a 3 mana Tormod's Crypt on legs.
Faceless Haven is Mutavault's big brother, turns into a 4/3 vigilance vampire for 3 mana. Vigilance on a manland means it can attack AND tap for mana. Only problem is he needs SNOW mana. Given what makes multicolored decks work is fetches and shock lands, Rakdos/Orzov/Mardu vampires need to be running Blood Crypt and/or Godless Shrine plus the fast or pain lands for their respective colors. So, Haven only works really in monoblack vampires. I'm certain there are other new supports on the way. If nothing else for black, if not vamps. Such as Baleful Mastery , or the black tribal boardwipe Crippling Fear , which is mainboard-worthy.

Just now looking at playing again.
Rethinking a new take on vampires looking for new suggestions since I haven't been keeping up with the drops in the last couple years

My own mono-black vampire deck needs a good tune up. Some recent cards I've been keeping an eye on:
Bloodletter of Aclazotz is fresh off the presses, and black has a strong Standard presence right now, so this one has a premium price tag, but I think it's going to be worth it.
Nighthawk Scavenger can get beefy fast. Very good recovery card if you start to slip behind.
Henrika Domnathi Flip is a more midrange/control option, but keeps pressure on.
Slaughter Specialist is cheap aggro that should grow fast.
Sorin the Mirthless is more of a thematic option, but extra draw and bodies are always nice.
Some non-Vampire options:
Virtue of Persistence is clean removal and long game support. Probably a sideboard card, but a potentially valuable one.
Diabolic Intent got a reprint.
So midrange is probably still the best angle to take with mono-B Vampires. Early game removal and discard, mid- to late-game heavy pressure.
