So I started playing Magic just before the Gatecrash pre-release. My friend took me to it and I ended up with Simic for my guild. Now I know Simic can actually be immensely powerful, however to use them right, a better level of knowledge than mine was typically needed.

So, over a year later, I have tuned my Simic deck to the point that it is pretty awesome. It still has a lot of the same cards that I got at the pre-release, like Cloudfin Raptor and Gyre Sage, as well as some major bombs that are entirely new, like Prophet of Kruphix and aethrling.

It's a pretty self explanatory deck, but basically it's advantage is that when it hits, you end up with huuuuge card advantage. This, coupled with the fact that you basically get 2 turns to their 1 with prophet, makes for an epic late game deck.
