Darwins Theory of Evolution- True to Mr. Darwins theory, this decks philosophy embodies evolution. The more versatile and adaptable your creatures are to their environment, the more they will thrive and grow, and thats what this deck tries to achieve. With every generation of creatures you put out, your existing creatures grow stronger and more adapted to survive!
Deck Theory:Hybrid Color Cards: These are truly valuable cards in this deck. This makes the deck less susceptible to mana lock, and gives it a higher percent chance that you will be able to develop your hand.
Ramp: In order to gain a momentum advantage and to be able to play out your costly creatures against aggro and control decks, you need to have a higher land output than your opponent. Thus, this deck has some adaptable land ramping cards such as : Safewright Quest. Murkfiend Liege pumps up and untaps your mana pumpers.
Counter control- This should be the first and foremost priority of the deck. If you let a control deck gain momentum on you, it will be very hard develop your cards. Keeping this in mind, this deck strives to nullify pesky control, disruption, and destruction tactics such as Doom Blade , Liliana of the Veil, Chain of Vapor, Wrath of God etc by getting out early creatures that deny targeting of your creatures and making you sacrifice them. These creatures include : Glen Elendra Archmage, Grand Abolisher, Kira, Great Glass-Spinner, Sigarda, Host of Herons Twilight Shepherd Asceticism.
Control- This deck has a some control elements of its own countering spells with counters such as: Mana Leak Glen Elendra Archmage
Draw Accereration: Fathom Mage When you put out a new creature, or when this comes into play with Master Biomancer already in play, you draw.
Creature Pump: One of the pillars of this deck is Master Biomancer, this card gives you mana ramp with Gyre Sage. It pumps all of your creatures. And makes sure your persist creatures survive Glen Elendra Archmage Twilight Shepherd (this card is your mass protection from Wrath of God. Some enchantments that work nicely with Master Biomancer are Doubling Season Asceticism.
Regeneration: If a couple cards happen to get back your defenses, Twilight Shepherd Asceticism will allow you to regenerate creatures and to put destroying creatures back into your hand.
Finishers: The finishers of this deck include Twilight Shepherd Sigarda, Host of Herons, but I think the most impressive finishes is Godhead of Awe. This reduces most of the enemy creatures to 1/1s while your creatures still enjoy the benefits of their +1/+1 counters.
