Just a start, but warrior tribal decks are taking over the world, and what better to stop them but with burn. This deck can take them out with low costing creatures, and take the win from them with dashing and buffing them up. I have
Barrage of Boulders
in the maybeboard because, depending on which you prefer, you can switch it with
Scouring Sands
in the sideboard. Please leave any and all suggestions in the comments. Thanks!
Ok, so, after the FNM I went to, I had some serious rebuilding I had to do with this deck, because in every game, it had little to no late game, besides Purphoros, God of the Forge, which needs devotion, and Stoke the Flames, which needs land and creatures, so, I decided to totally revamp this deck to give it a better chance in the late-game. Here's what I did:
More land. Since I was adding bigger creatures, the first step to this process was to add more land, 4 to be exact. I took out the 3 Akroan Crusaders and 1 Lightning Berserker to achieve this goal. Perhaps more in the future, but I'm fine where it is now.
Dragons. I've always wanted to get Thunderbreak Regent into this deck, and now's the perfect time. If you haven't seen the new Magic Origins spoilers, then you wouldn't know of Avaricious Dragon, and while there is some debate about it, I think it has a lot of potential, so I slapped 2 of them in this deck and hope to get them at prerelease and/or launch weekend, and if not, then I'll just have to order them online. I took out the 2 Searing Blood in the mainboard (1 to sideboard, taking out Twin Bolt) and 2 Coordinated Assault to do this.
The rest. I wanted another Purphoros, God of the Forge in this deck, so I took out a Mardu Scout for it. I then noticed that I had quite a few more creatures than instants now, so I replaced another Mardu Scout with a Magma Jet. That's my new deck re-boot, so please let me know what you think. Thanks!
