Maybeboard

This deck is intended for Legacy Tribal Wars; a casual MTGO format in which at least a third of your deck must be creatures that share a single creature type. It uses roughly the same banned list as Legacy and there are no sideboards. You can find all of my Tribal Wars decks here.

I'm on a very tight budget so the cheaper the better; anything above 1 MTGO ticket per card is too much unless it would have a big impact as a singleton in the deck and/or it would be useful in several of my decks. Thanks for checking out my deck and I greatly appreciate suggestions and +1s.

"Dash sure is a nice aggressive mechanic, I hope all those aggro players enjoying playing with it in their fast decks, but I like to play slow, controlling decks so there's nothing for me here."

Well, I'm here to disabuse you of those hypothetical thoughts, imaginary person, because this is Orc Control! The game plan is to keep the opponent's side of the board clear in the early game with sweepers while applying pressure with dash creatures where possible until I can resolve a Death Match or Confusion in the Ranks to take over the game. Innocent Blood and Merciless Executioner provide answers to creatures that are too big or too resilient to be killed by the sweepers.

The deck is intentionally 62 cards; due to rounding, it allows a slightly higher ratio of non-tribal to tribal cards.

Barter in Blood - A double Innocent Blood , but 4 mana is a lot of mana.

Door of Destinies - Another finisher that benefits from creatures entering the battlefield repeatedly.

Great Furnace/Vault of Whispers - Works with Confusion in the Ranks to allow stealing of artifacts and lands, but it opens the land base up to more forms of removal and makes Dragonskull Summit a bit less reliable.

Rocky Tar Pit /Temple of Malice - Utility and fixing at the cost of entering the battlefield tapped.

Ivory Tower - Since I'm typically storing all my creatures in my hand, I'm likely to trigger this every turn and the deck does have a weakness to burn-heavy decks but there are also lots of matchups where pure lifegain is just not very useful.

If you'd prefer to see ETB triggers abused in a completely different way, I have an Ally combo deck:

If you love to make board sweepers one-sided, I also have an Kor deck that does just that:
