What's your budget?

How do you want the deck to win? What kind of approach are you going for?

Are you opposed to infinite combos? Are there any limitations in your playgroup?

I'm pretty open about budget, I generally would prefer to stay away from cards that are around $20 or more, but i'm not opposed to paying a little for a good card.

Originally I was throwing a lot of cards like card:Praetor's Grasp or Bitter Ordeal . The concept of getting rid of as many threats that I could from their deck intrigued me. Sadistic Sacrament was also included, but I eventually dropped it due to the kicker cost. Getting rid of that made me re-think my strategy. And to be honest, I'm not 100% sure where to go from here. I'll admit that I have not tested this in a match yet, as many of the cards in my list are cards that I have to purchase.

Infinite mana isn't necessarily frowned upon in my meta, so long as you're not stupid with it, being a dick over and over gets people annoyed quickly with us. Again, I'm pretty open to just about any suggestions that you may have.

I would stay away from weaker creatures like Lorescale Coatl and Augury Owl . They aren't very strong or utilitarian, and they take up deck space that could be used for better cards.

BUG is very good at pulling off combos, but if your playgroup doesn't like that being the sole focus of your deck, you would probably be better off going another route. You might even change generals and go for The Mimeoplasm , since reanimator is probably the best non-combo BUG deck.
