Undead aren't a real problem when your feet never touch the ground.
This is my attempt at a Mono-red dragon deck, I play casual and Standard so my information on the 'meta' is...non existing. I should also note I own ZERO of these cards, and was hoping for some feedback before I commit to buying this deck.
But I can still try to give you a good idea of what the plan of the deck is!
Creatures:
Dragonmaster Outcast was an auto-induced for me, not only because if it survives it can start pumping out huge tokens, but because it's a magnet for removal, people see Dragonmaster Outcast and want it gone as quickly as possible.
Dragonlord's Servant A nice early game blocker and makes my dragon creatures cheaper. Cool.
Dragon Whisperer
This guy is the one who trains my dragons, letting me poke in the air when I have nothing else to do, and later in the game, letting me drop dragons into play without warning.
Thunderbreak Regent With help from Dragonlord's Servant I can drop this guy as early as turn three! A stick card, and once two of them hit the battle, suddenly, removal doesn't sound like a good idea anymore.
Akoum Hellkite This guy was a strange pick for me, I will admit. However, in theory, he can get rid of chump air blockers as well as be a solid offensive threat. I was originally considering Avaricious Dragon instead, but tentatively decided not to in fear of the discard effect.
Sorcery:
Roast Fun fact, a Roast is useful AND flavorful in all meanings of the word.
Instant:
Sarkhan's Triumph Tutor up those dragons!
Land:
Mountain I'm...going to be honest, I'm not sure why I put any Mountain cards in this deck, I mean, I get that they are zero mana, and tap to add 1R to your mana pool, but you can only play one each turn! They can't even block...oh well.
Haven of the Spirit Dragon
Oh no! You lost six life removing my Thunderbreak Regent, what am I going to do?!?! Heh.
Enchantment:
Dragon Tempest I honestly fell in love with this card, that damage just piles up so quickly, and the haste effect is great!
So...yeah, that's everything, suggestions are more then appreciated! Please rip this deck to shreds (in the metaphorical sense, these cards are kinda pricey) and help me take over the sky!
