I really like this build. I've been trying to make a black/white deck that runs sort of similar, but doesn't rely much on my commander. I might actually make an attempt to do a Daxos commander deck!

Well I mean if you want something fun in there, I LOVE using an old fashioned World Slayer equipped to Gideon, Champion of Justice; having him and some others as indestructible, everything but them will be destroyed. You can also exile with oblivion ring or detention sphere, then destroying everything will actually bring them back. As for taking things, I made a deck that's ALL about taking peoples stuff- I use liquimetal coating and master thief, then a ton of shapeshifters with peer pressure. Hope this helped somewhat, I'm still fairly new to magic, but I mainly just build fun decks as well.

Removed Heliod, God of the Sun . Vigilance just isn't a priority in this deck. Silent Arbiter replaced him, making Daxos of Meletis that much more powerful.

You're kind of missing Spin into Myth if you want to go for bounce on top of library. Oust also seems right up your alley.

@SilverhawkPX45 you are 100% correct, I overlooked both of those. I've got a few cards in there right now that don't fit, and I'll make those edits, THANKS!

As far as counterspells go, I feel that at least Hinder needs to be put into the deck. It's on theme and does better in Commander than simple counterspells because it can tuck a general. Other choices I feel are superior to your current arsenal would be Spell Crumple , Desertion and Spelljack , as well as Memory Lapse if you wanna really push the top of library theme.

I'm also seeing some sub-par choices for hard removal and if that's deliberate then that's cool, but just for reference: Swords to Plowshares , Path to Exile and Oblation are all three superior to almost all creature removal. If you'd prefer to be on theme or just feel those are overdone, Pongify and Rapid Hybridization seem great since they create dudes with power 3 to keep Daxos unblockable.

Well I certainly have a lot of cards to track down. I've never had luck with building EDH decks as I haven't been into magic long enough to have acquired the foundation cards of most EDH decks. We recently had a few local gaming stores open up and its really been a boon to my trading. I'll take a look for those cards, they're great options. Thanks!

Some things I've been playing around with in my Medomai Oh My! commander deck (that will be getting Daxos soon because they work so well together) are Aqueous Form , Pacifism , Gwafa Hazid, Profiteer , Mistmeadow Witch , and Minister of Impediments . Anything my opponent brings out to block - suddenly can't block anymore.

I thinks that 40 lands are kinda too much. At least when I am building an EDH deck, my top is 38 lands, but usually it is between 36-38 lands - it is enough.. I would rather see here cards like Isperia, Supreme Judge , Frost Titan , Mirran Crusader , Solemn Simulacrum , Drogskol Reaver , Silverblade Paladin (great card with Daxos) or Heliod, God of the Sun . Those creatures do cool stuff. All of them. And about Heliod - I originally put him into my deck just because I pulled him from a booster pack, but now I love this guy. Not because vigilance (but it is also interesting and good to have), but because his last ability. 2WW for 2/1 creature may seem too much, but in late game, it is just awesome. Getting rid of Heliod is extremely hard for opponent and when you have the lands, you may just sit and generate tokens.. In my opinion one of the best cards for late game.

Oh, and card draw engine, like Ponder , Preordain , etc. is also very good.

jorjo10 yeah, I lack a lot of the artifacts commonly used in place of land, so my land count is a bit higher than what it should be. I also have a lot of cards in there that don't belong like Gideon, Champion of Justice and Ivory Giant that are "placeholders" for when I get some better fits. I had Ponder in there, and I took it out. I've been on the fence about adding back, and I think I will. Thanks for the advice
