Steel of the Godhead tends to be awesome on daxos

If you're looking for more voltron artifacts, might I recommend Mask of Avacyn and Basilisk Collar . Also, since you have so much colorless mana, I would heavily recommend a Sol Ring , to ramp you up.

Things your deck wants:

Mana Acceleration

-Sol Ring : EDH staple. Really easy to get with the number of reprints it has had.

-Mana Vault : Works well when you hit something awesome with Daxon. Not the cheapest card to buy, but some versions are relatively inexepensive.

-Dreamscape Artist : Turns any dead card in your hand into a Harrow . Dirt cheap to buy.

Haste-enablers: Do not underestimate the power of hasty creatures.

-Helm of Kaldra : doubles as sweet voltron tool. Not exactly cheap, though.

-Lightning Greaves : shroud stops you from applying other equipment, but giving haste and a way to evade removal is too good to pass up. Easy to acquire.

-Strider Harness : gives haste and a slight pump. Dirt cheap to buy.

-Sword of Vengeance : Hem of Kaldra with a power boost. Cheap to buy.

Efficient Voltron tools

-Brass Squire : Lets you move your equipment around at instant speed, and skip equip costs. Dirt cheap.

-Inquisitor's Flail : It doubles Daxon's damage, and Daxon's hard enough to block that the doubling blocker damage is worth the risk. Dirt cheap.

-Mask of Memory : Card draw on equipment. Dirt cheap.

-Sword of Feast and Famine : All of the swords are worth considering in a voltron deck, but Feast and Famine is notable because it untaps your lands, so you can cast whatever Daxon stole. Costs more than a pretty penny to buy.

Alternative Voltron Targets

-Invisible Stalker : It already has two of the four things a voltron target wants (evasion, removal evasion, power, and haste), and it's cheap to play. If Daxon isn't available, Invisible Stalker is an acceptable substitute.

-Angelic Overseer : Hexproof, indestructible, and flying when Daxon's in play. Cheap to buy.

-Commander Eesha : It can't be blocked, and creatures can't kill it. Relatively cheap.

Value Enablers

-Strionic Resonator : It lets you grab extra cards with Daxon. Cheap.

-Grand Arbiter Augustin IV : Cuts your costs, and taxes your opponents. Not exactly cheap to buy, though.

Things your deck doesn't want:

-Dissipation Field : This slows damage down by a fair amount, but it also lets your opponents get more value out of ETB triggers, and those are the most commonly abused effects in EDH.

-Angelic Wall : This card is dead in 98% of boardstates. It's essentially a chump blocker that gets no value.

-Holy Strength : This card is awful. It's 1 additional power on an aura that leaves you behind in cards the moment somebody drops a kill spell on Daxon.

-Divine Favor : See Holy Strength.

-Luminous Wake : Worse than Spirit Link if you're pumping Daxon by much, and it costs 3 mana.

-Convolute : the only 3-mana counterspells I like in EDH are Render Silent , Hinder , and Spell Crumple . Two of them tuck commanders, and the third has an annoying effect stapled onto it. 3 mana is too much to spend on most targets.

-Dissolve : See Convolute .

-Kabira Crossroads : When you're an aggro deck, the last thing you want is to have your lands come into play tapped without doing anything. 2 life is not worth slowing you down by a turn.

-Wall of Frost : It's too easily killed or evaded for me to like it. Wall of Denial might be a better choice if you really want to play walls.

Anyway, since you already have Nim Deathmantle , you could add Cloudgoat Ranger or something and Ashnod's Altar = infinite mana, infinite tokens.

With the amount of artifacts you run, Darksteel Forge might not be bad. Especially with Mycosynth Lattice in play

Yeah, and then you can run Nevinyrral's Disk for an infinite lock with Mycosynth Lattice and Darksteel Forge .

Mycosynth Lattice not a good idea... Wave of VitriolEach player sacrifices all artifacts, enchantments, and nonbasic lands he or she controls. For each land sacrificed this way, its controller may search his or her library for a basic land card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. Then each player who searched his or her library this way shuffles it.
