Dazed and Confused

Modern

I've seen plenty of decks that run a playset of Fog or maybe some similar basis. One curious thing I learned recently however, that infect, both poison and -1/-1, does register as dealing damage, and playing a fog can really ruin someone's day when you have no creatures and they swing for game with infect. Another advantage to something as simple as fog, it doesn't target a creature or player, so your typical infect vines of vastwood response is useless. I do realize that cards like Defend the Hearth target players, so a Witchbane Orb would help, but only on their side. The one notable card that is fast to prevent damage and could target creatures is Winds of Qal Sisma, but in the deck I'm going to be presenting you with today, we won't ever have that big of creatures. This deck is somewhat inspired by Card Kingdom's Manic Fog deck, but with a faster, lower mana cost, mostly instant or sorcery based scheme to milling out your opponent. A huge advantage to this deck is that the only card worth more than a quarter or so is Increasing Confusion, so a modern budget player can have fun with this cheap deck.
