Yeah Caley indeed wrote pack 5 and 6. It really seems odd. I don't even know whether it's necessary. I guess Caley could have easily just autopick something based on his own judgment. Nevertheless, I agree with Supersun's list with RussischerZar's edit.

So, is everybody ok witch me sending the list to Caley as posted above (switching the order of Unknown Shores and Charlie, the Unicorn)?

Hoo boy. Absinthman, the pack I gave you contained Mogis's Marauder , not Fanatic of Mogis . I assume the two got confused somewhere along the line. Delaying for another 24 hours to let you guys repick.

Now that's a disappointment. Well, guys, let's have a quick session so that we don't delay this much longer. I guess it's between Lagonna-Band Elder and Ray of Dissolution now. I think that the Elder, being a creature, outweighs the Ray right now. It's a solid body for a reasonable cost
+1 Lagonna-Band Elder for dork reasons.

Ok, now I'm confused.
Red I guess isn't pick 6 Fanatic of Mogis open and instead black is pick 6 Mogis Marauder? Yeah, No clue about the signals now
The priority list had Ray first and most people agreed with that list. I wouldn't mind the dork, but if we are in a rush to get Kaley a pick so we can continue I'd go with the more flexible card which is Ray.
There are decks that we could draft where we might not like the Centaur as much (especially is White is more of a late game color). I'd be very surprised if we ever would regret drafting Ray even if it's a sideboard.
If we had more time we could discuss if we wanted to take the risk and head our deck down the aggro direction or the late game direction (not that Centaur is bad in a late game deck, he just isn't as great as in an aggroy type deck and even then he doesn't fit that well in a Heroic aggro deck).
+1 Ray

I'm ok with the Ray. It might be a better pick after all. I share Supersun's confusion though. What is going on? Everything suggested that black was being drafted to our right an now we see this... Either the people to our right are doing something crazy, or the packs had some unusually strong card constelations.

+1 Ray
It really is the question if the pack initially actually contained a Fanatic of Mogis, or just the names were confused since both him and the Mogis's Marauder contain 'mogis'.

That's 3 for Ray, If you also vote ray Abs I think that should be enough to express mail it to Kaley. If nothing else we can get the next pack late and spend 2 days on it instead of just sitting for a 3rd day straight doing nothing.

Ok, sending Ray as our pick. Though I guess Kaley is already sound asleep, so we might not see the pack 'til the morning hits Pacific.

Maybe, maybe not. I've seen him stream to much later before. Doesn't hurt to try
KrazyCaley I summon thee!!!
....and I totally did not spell your name wrong earlier either.

I've seen Caley stream until 9 AM to 6 PM... CET. That was sick.

Well, it's a discussion worth having anyway. What direction do you think our deck is heading in anyway? It's something that really needs to be hammered out sooner then later, especially in Theros. We are sorta at an interesting split where we have some of the best heroic aggro enablers (but no heros). We have some amazing mid-late game monsters. We also have a few pretty ridiculous tempo cards.
From what we have, at least from what i can see, it looks like we are heading in a more mid to late range direction with SGR and Armored Titan.

The fact that we don't have any heroes makes it pretty difficult to take the heroic route. Based on what we've passed, we have a strong reason to believe that we will get plenty of blue cards in pack 2, which contributes to the mid-late game plan. Unfortunatelly, the messed up signaling we've been getting from the right so far makes it quite difficult to predict pack 3, aside from the fact that we probably won't se much blue there. The fate of our white and red being uncertain, I guess we'll get stuffed on blue in pack 2, and keep an eye on what we feed to the right, which might determine our second color. All this may change however, if by some chance we don't get any blue in pack 2, and start getting something else. If we take the mid-late plan, we will need to watch out for Voyage's Ends and Griptides as those are the cornerstones of that strategy, I think.

I still think that the people to our right are heavy black and blue, but their strategies just can't effectively use Mogis's Marauders.
For example if the player to our immediate right is looking at a mono black Grey Merchant route then M&M and bearhorse don't really add much to their late game strategy, and don't do a ton to prevent early game aggression (at least compared to some other card they could have taken).
I mean, there's not a ton of black strategies in Theros draft that I know of that rely on giving everything you have intimidate and bashing the opponent's skull in. Maybe a B/W heroic deck or some strange B/G give your monstrous Asp intimidate and laugh?

Unless they took a Grey Merchant over it, Mogis's Marauders is EXACTLY the type of card that a monoblack devotion deck would want to have mainboard. Getting in for like 8 free damage seems pretty decent to me. Then finish them with a big drain.

Finally, we get to pick the next card. I'll provide my input later, when I have a bit more time.

That is true, but I still wanted to point that out :)
