I guess either take the Chimera or 'hate' on the fox.
I mean in theory we could also get the Ox as a anti-aggro card, but I don't really know about that :P

I'd still say to draft the Chimera.
It's a fairly versatile sideboard card, able to help against flying, aggro, and ground wall strategies.
While we certainly can't just throw the 2 in our deck and call it good it's not that unrealistic to remove the white from our deck and run only red and blue. We have enough cards to do it, though we would be adding some rather unstellar picks (though those cards are situationally useful as well).
The main one I'm thinking of is if anyone built a ridiculous Wingsteed Rider deck, and is able to just flat out kill us before we even reach 6 mana due to us having no air defense. It might be best to remove the white from our deck, and add the Chimeras, Spark and Portent which all help slow the pegasus down (or flat out kill it).
But yeah, we weren't exactly expecting anything amazing from here on out in the draft anyways. We knew the draft was essentially over after the 8th pick, the land was just a bonus.

Flier defense! And they could get pretty big depending on how often we use our sorceries and instants.

Seems fine. I was thinking either sideboard the ox or hate the fox, but this is just as good.

Hi guys. Just came home 3-0 from an FNM draft with raised spirit(s). Sending Chimera to Caley.
November 22, 2013 6:07 p.m.
Probably Prescient Chimera.
I can't think of any situation where we would use the white flier.
The blue one is probably the best card in the pack to hate and if an emergency pops up we can side it in if we kick out all our white and run only red and blue.

+1 Chimera.
It's the best card in the pack, and none of the others are hateable.

I have some new info from Caley. We're getting close to the autodraft part of the last pack, so we should be done by the end f the weekend. Then we will have about five days to build our deck and the matches will start on the next weekend. Caley prefers to have the matches run during his stream times, that is 18:30 - 0:00 Pacific (2:30 - 8:00 GMT). This is pretty tough on us, because I'll either have to stay up pretty late or get up damn early. If our match is on Saturday, I might choose the former. If it's on Sunday, I guess I'll have to take care of the match before I leave for work. I'll let you know in time.
I'm setting up a scheduling and record sheet again. you can find it here. As you can see, my first opponent is my former team leader. That will be interesting.
Caley has also decided to make one change to the rules: We are now free to modify our deck between matches.

By the way, Deckbuilder's team was 3rd to our left. Any guesses what they might be running?
November 23, 2013 9:34 a.m.
Third to our left is pretty far out in a direction we don't exactly get a lot of signals from. I mean that's essentially almost on the opposite side of the table.
He miiiiiiight be green, from what I can gather from the packs. There aren't many green drafters at the table, and seeing the Green dryad in 2-3 and Nylea's Emissary in 3-5 infers the possibility that the person 3 to our left is probably the green drafter since he's the only person at the table to have not received both of those packs when they reached us while soon after the green.

*While soon after the green dried up from our packs (with the exception of some Warrior's Ways).

Third to last pick is here. I guess UW isn't a thing, lol. Is there any point in taking the Hoplite for sideboard now? I don't really think there is. I don't see us playing or siding it. Hating the fox might be better.

+1 Hoplite
Someone may have been betting on that thing tabling to them, and hate drafting it here might be a good idea to keep that in check.
I don't think the person to our left is green, and he will probably hate draft the fox next.

The hoplite is only good in a U/W heroic deck. If nobody's taken it already, then clearly there isn't one of those at this table.
Hating the fox is stronger because it's a stand-alone good card.

The Hoplite is a bomb in the right deck. If someone's running a Heroic deck with WU, it's firstpick material in the third pack, even if one of the colors is a splash. I agree with NobodyPicksBulbasaur. The fox is strong in almost any green deck.

The Hoplite IS first pick material, but sometimes it's a better idea to take another card from the pack because of the chance that the card will table. I know there's been a few situations where I'll take another card over a powerful multicolored simply because it's clear that no one else is running that multicolored combo. My group actually did this to an extent in the last DDD. Whenever we saw Armored Wolf Riders in the pack we never had to take them early because no one else was running G/W and they would always table back to us. Only 1 never made it back to us. The rest we pretty much got in autodrafting.
Someone at the table has already seen that Hoplites can table to him, and there's a good chance that someone to our left has already taken the Hoplite from 4 picks ago. It could very easily be the person to our immediate left. Remember in pack 2 we saw a Hoplite for pick 5, and then we didn't see it again for autodrafting. Someone to our left either hate drafted it or picked it for themselves, and just 4 picks ago another Hoplite made it to them after that they had already seen a hoplite in this pack that will likely be passed back to them. It's very possible that someone could make a last minute switch from W/R Heroic to W/B Heroic because of these hoplites, especially if they land the 3rd.
Likewise, I highly doubt that the person to our left is Green, and we can use him to hate the Fox. In Pack 2 on the third pick we were passed both Time to Feed and a Leafcrown Dryad. Both of those cards are clearly first pick material and would have been taken unless something like an Asp or a green rare bomb was in that pack.

Pick 3-10 is up. Unfortunately, nothing useful there.
