What are those two gentleman have in common?
Both of them are loudmouth but brave and straight to the point. Unfortunately, they have been doubted by their own people on how they handle/will handle their country in general...thus it leads to this:
Well politics aside, its been a while since I updated the deck. I had a chance to take a look all the cards available in standard that I can use to update this. Fortunately, rivals of ixalan gave us a lot of enablers and payoffs to make this Dubious Challenge deck possible in standard. I know, I know, some guy in Japan made a dubious challenge deck in modern and it made nice results but this is gonna be my challenge to make it work in standard.
These cards help you blink the payoff cards if in case your opponent chose the big/flashy ones. If they picked these enablers, we don't care and we got the big/flashy ones. If they picked the big/flashy ones, we got the enablers then blink them again to regain the exiled card under your control thanks to Acrobatic Maneuver. Angel of Sanctions is there to answer planeswalkers and annoying enchantments such as Cast Outs. An unanswered Bishop of Binding can finish the game for you specially when it exiles big bad dinosaurs.
These cards are your big/flashy ones that can finish the game quickly for you. Although we don't have eldrazis anymore to cheat, we have these big bad elder dinosaurs to cheat as early as turn 3. If they don't deal Etali, Primal Storm quickly, it can make chaos in the battlefield, stealing their hazorets, scarab gods, and approaches. Zetalpa, Primal Dawn is just a big bad dragon...I mean dinosaur that is resistant to destroy effects...just watch out with exile effects. Ghalta, Primal Hunger is just ghalta that can finish the game for you.
Drover of the Mighty and Servant of the Conduit - mana dorks that can become big guys in late game.
Champion of Rhonas - your semi big guy that can cheat our big guys...and sometimes our exile guys.
Heroic Intervention - everybody tries to remove our big guys or boardwipe our guys so here is your lifesaver.
Gift of Paradise - another ramp spell and gains some life.
Cast Out - to support Angel of Sanctions removing annoying permanents.
The Immortal Sun - if all else fails, you do have some protection and toolbox to smoothen your card draw and casting spells.
These are the cards that I consider as of this metagame. As always, feel free to switch some cards for your local metagame:
Deathgorge Scavenger - for aggressive decks, decks that rely on graveyards
Prowling Serpopard and Carnage Tyrant - for decks that rely on counterspells
Thrashing Brontodon - for artifact and enchantment based decks.
Chandra's Defeat - for big red decks and chandras and angraths
Lifecrafter's Bestiary - for attrition matchups
Gideon's Intervention - for decks that rely on one big wincons like Approach of the Second Sun, The Scarab God, Anointed Procession, etc.
