Possibly Languish on your sideboard. Zombies come back, most other creatures don't.

@musicman3310- Not a terrible idea. I admit, I'm a stickler for cmc and the idea of a 3 cost prison card isn't very appealing. I'll playtest with it and see how it goes.
Love languish. Was thinking about it last night, but I don't currently own any. I'll proxy 2 in the SB and see how well it works out.
Thanks! Keep the feedback coming!

I like the idea of the deck, especially the grey merchant finish. My advice would be to cut the Sinister Possessions and Visions of Brutality for harder removal, and throw in a Phyrexian Obliterator. Curving Gravecrawler to Relentless Dead to Geralf's Messenger to Phyrexian Obliterator to grey merchant is a 24-life swing, and just obliterator to merchant is 12

@Iamatree- obliterator isn't something I feel fits here. I'm not an aggro player. In fact, the reason I think the deck is most effective is because of the subtlety of the life-loss involved, stressing the opponent by forcing them to make decisions that benefit them in no way. Also, the cost is 4. While the devotion factor is pretty bitchin', I'm trying to avoid upping the Cmc any further as this is already a slow starter. And the price... Yeesh.
Thanks for the input, though!

@musicman3310- Whelp, you got into mah brain; I just ordered a foil Death Baron off of eBay. Gonna see if a buddy-o-mine has another. Thanks again, dude!

Not sure how good Diregraf Colossus really is bc most of the time you get your Zombies back out of the grave and don't leave them sticking around there. Really like the Altar's Reap - Geralfs Messenger interaction! Maybe try Nantuko Husk or even Zulaport Cutthroat bc you seem to have a lot of death triggers. Have you considered playing Gurmag Anglers? And maybe play 1-2 Shrine into Nyx if possible.
Overall a very funny deck!

@Gueller- Pardon my language, but Colossus is fucking awesome in this deck! I've even thought about putting in the fourth one just to make sure I get to play.one.every.game.
Gravecrawler @ combat, it dies (or does damage, a + either way), play colossus, recast the crawler: 2 damage+ 3 zombies for 4 mana? Yes, please.
Shrine isn't bad; I'm always looking for ramp in black. The husk and zulaport are out, though. I I simply don't have any room for a new mechanic in here. :/
Thanks for the input, friend. I'll see if I can't locate 2x shrines locally!

What do you think of plague belcher for the deck. A 5/4 for 3CMC (or 3/2 if you have no other creatures) with menace and upside ability seems like a good fit. Or possibly a one of Graf harvest cause giving all zombies menace and more zombie fuel if needed doesn't seem horrible.

ShiftyJeans- I like Plague Belcher. the cost isn't bad for its p/t and it's second ability is undeniably devious in conjunction with Geralf's Messenger. I'm very unfamiliar with the new Amonkhet set, so thanks for bringing it to my attention!
As for Graf Harvest, the cost is nice as I like a low cmc in my decks, and the evasion is cool, but the second ability turns me off a bit as I should be able to play a lot between my graveyard and hand with 4 mana without it on the board. More zombies are always nice, but with all mechanics considered in the deck currently, I could only realistically exile Highborn Ghoul. All the other zombies somehow either reanimate or work toward the wincon of the deck.
I'm not discounting these cards as possibilities. I haven't even received my liliana, death's majesty I pre-ordered yet. So, after I playtest the current build in my meta, I'll consider these cards for the next version. I believe Plague Belcher definitely has a home in here though.
Thanks for the input!
Play on!

Cool deck. I'd suggest you need something in the sideboard to deal with artifacts or enchantments, just in case you run into an Ensnaring Bridge or something like that. Unfortunately mono black doesn't have many answers for those, maybe Ratchet Bomb or Oblivion Stone?

Drakorya- Thank you for that. I agree that this deck needs an answer for artifacts and enchantments. Ratchet bomb is much more appealing than Stone. I was thinking perhaps a Spine of Ish Sah as well (I only have one of each). Thoughts?

Found Fortuitous Find. This way I can reuse Ratchet Bomb and Spine of Ish Sah. Wouldn't normally use spine, (bc of cmc) but it's less picky about what it destroys and when.
This is subject to change, of course. But this does complete the current build with a sideboard. Further suggestions will always be considered!
Thanks again!

Really liked the playtest I did of this deck. Comes out swinging hard and fast, and has a good amount of removal. Really good synergy all around, like between Geralf's Messenger and Bone Splinters or Plague Belcher. +1.

Thinking on maybe Sideboarding Visions of Brutality (replace Stab Wound), for Perilous Myrs in the MB. Not a zombie but would be a tin-version of Geralf's Messenger.
Thoughts?

I'd use Ratchet Bomb over Spine of Ish Sah in the sideboard, as it can be an answer to alot of other decks, like Tokens, Affinity, and any other deck that tends to have a cheap curve.

Drakorya- Generally, Languish and Bile Blight take care of most token decks. i agree that Ratchet Bomb is a better curve fitting removal, but I also need something a bit more on-demand. Sitting on a Bomb with one counter on it is fine, but should they pull a Leyline or Gideon, I have to buy a few turns to take it out, in a deck that can't last long without some progression.
That being said, pickin's are slim, of course. Without Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx curving my mana to cast Spine of Ish Sah, I wouldn't even consider it. I would consider 2x Ratchet Bomb in place of one Fortuitous Find, but I am going to keep the spine for now.

Possibly Stab Wound for Sinister Possession. I know it's two CMC higher but it either kills a 2 toughness creature or forces them to take 2 every turn unlike Sinister Possession. If they sac the Stabbed creature then it activates Morbid for Tragic Slip.
