Thoughts

• Odric, Master Tactician: 4 mana is expensive, and he needs to survive 1 turn and have at least 3 other.
  Thus he mostly eats removal, and is rarely useful

• Mikaeus, the Lunarch: Can work as another +1/+1 buff, do not expect him to last longer.

• Hero of Bladehold: Although expensive, can restart our assault and refill the board
  (unlike Odric, requires noone else).

• Riders of Gavony: Unlike any of their contenders, Riders require no upkeep, as soon as they arrive, Humans have protection from the target creature type. Unfotunately this has little effect against deck with diverse creature types.
