Just out of curiosity, how does one cope with Leyline of Sanctity ? While staying R/B? It's been a bit tricky for me.

I side in more creatures and destruction, then side out Duress/Kozilek/Blightning. I just beat them to death. Would be near impossible without the Percys.

Need to get me some of those beauties. =/ I'm running a slight alteration on this with Temple Bell , and Scepter of Fugue , and Phylactery Lich as an alternative to Nyxathid .

Tempted to do something like that once Alara rotates.

Have you tried playing around with Sarkhan in your deck yet? He made great improvements to mine.

dealing with leyline.. i quasi succesfully splashed 1 rootbound crag 2 forests 3 verdant catacombs (potential: 6 green sources 3 black 1 red) to side some maelstrom pulse or even naturalize... but naturlaize can't hit pesky planeswalkers.

Siroz, i believe if you have enough for reverberate or have 2 inquiries in your hand you can keep priority and cast both inquiries or reverberate on the stack, one resolves before the other and theres no risk of loosing the 2nd spell in the process (except to blue counter)

Hmm, I like the Maelstrom Pulse idea.

As for the 2 inquiries in hand, unfortunately that will not work, as they are sorceries and sorceries can only be played when the stack is empty on your main phase. So, if I play one, the other has to wait until the first resolves, which means I will potentially lose it :\

I tried running Reverbs and it was just hard getting enough red mana early on when it would have meant a kill. I may try it again, or Quest of the Pure Flame.

Pulse is probably your best bet if you're seriously considering splashing to destroy the Leyline.

And, to the Q about Sarkhan the Mad yes, my sideboard actually switches the theme of the entire deck to Abyssal Trample to deal with a leyline. =]

Not sure how well it works, my friends are all fighting, so I have noone to playtest with but myself. =[

Going to one last tournament before Mirrodin hits, trying to decide whether or not I want to bring Inquiring Death for its last hurrah, or take my new Dark Fire deck.

Probably going to scrap the discard deck afterwards, unless Mirrodin gives us something radical. If I kept it, I'd probably go your route, Saith.

Nyxathid would become Phylactery Lich , andTerminate would probably become Brittle Effigy or Temple Bell .

This is going to be the final hurrah of this deck, going to FNM, and then breaking it up. Some cards will be used in my new Dark Fire deck, others will be sold, and the remaining will be shelved.

Wish me luck.
