Also while Im here, I saw Martyr of Ashes and was wondering why it was included in the main deck, or the side board at all. looks to me like a couple side-boarded Slagstorm would fit the bill just fine, unless you plan on killing your own Kederekt Parasite and having a really sucky draw late game, at least Slagstorm can be used to finish off your opponents when the time is right :P
I don't want to come across sounding mean or anything, I just have to hurry and say what I have to say. again I love these kinds of decks :)

@Dz324Alpha I'm already running 14 universal draw cards (Howling Mine , Temple Bell , Teferi's Puzzle Box , and Spiteful Visions ) so I don't think adding more would be the best idea. I've considered Jace Beleren , but I think Temple Bell is a better choice since I'm only interested in the draw, as the bell can be used at instant speed and can't be killed.
As for Martyr of Ashes , it is a one drop that can be used as a cheap and effective wrath later (or around turn 3-4 against aggro) that serves as a red permanent (good with Kederekt Parasite ) and doesn't hit flyers (so I don't kill myself by shooting Swans of Bryn Argoll while Spiteful Visions is on the board). It will probably deal more damage than Slagstorm considering all the draw in this deck, is less cmc restrictive even when played from hand, and can be used at instant speed. The only downsides are that I have to reveal my hand, I can't hit my opponent with it, and it doesn't hit my opponent's flyers.

Burning Inquiry could be fun, but also hurting yourself badly if you use it early on.

Why the Kederekt Parasite ? You've only 3 red permanents - your Martyr of Ashes . Seems like you would need more red permanents in your deck to make the Parasite effective. Or am I missing something?

And Spiteful Visions , It didn't show up when I clicked on the color. lol. Even still, the % is a little low to make it useful I think.

The playset of Veinfire Borderpost s count as well. :P

Omg, dude, this deck needs runeflare trap in a bad way!

I didn't even know that was a card. I agree whole-heartedly that Runeflare Trap should go in. Nothing beats 7+ damage for 1 mana.

sigh LOL. Sorry, I didn't see those either. I guess I'm from an old-school train of thought that artifacts are always colorless. Okay, the percentages are a little more evened out now. +1 for force-feeding your opponents cards and killing them with it! I like decks that would frustrate the opposition, and this would certainly frustrate me!

Alright guys, Toil / Trouble , Incendiary Command , and Runeflare Trap would fulfill basically the same role in this deck. Which do you all think would fit better?
September 11, 2013 1:01 p.m.
Since you don't have a basic land to return with Veinfire Borderpost , there are better mana rocks out there available to you.
Darksteel Ingot - Chromatic Lantern - Rakdos Keyrune - Rakdos Signet - Rakdos Cluestone
Even Obelisk of Grixis would be better since it comes in the same turn but comes in untapped.
September 16, 2013 11:50 a.m.
I didn't even realize that Veinfire Borderpost needed a basic land. Considering that, it's unplayable in this deck.
I was only running them to serve as red permanents to trigger Kederekt Parasite 's ability, so even though the mana rocks you mentioned are better, they won't really work here.
Do you know of any cheap red permanents that would fit in this deck, ideally in place of Veinfire Borderpost ? Or should I just put lands in their place and run Psychosis Crawler s and Seizan, Perverter of Truth s instead of Kederekt Parasite ?

I would never drop Kederekt Parasite as he is really who gets the damage rolling in this deck. Those other options you mentioned are nice, but they have high CMCs, and you might be dead before you can play them and deal enough damage through them.
Honestly, Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded is your best bet. Sure, his +1 doesn't change anything at all other than the amount of loyalty counters on him and shuffle your hand, but it will be a good thing just as often as a bad thing. And a lot of the cards in here shuffle your hand anyways so I don't think you would mind that very much. His +4 could be enough of a finisher, especially after dealing a a good amount of damage with Kederekt Parasite .
My other suggestion would be Bloodhall Ooze , although he really only becomes larger and doesn't necessarily help the deck flow, he would just be a decent fit.
I would strongly recommend Tibalt though. I think this is the one and only deck archetype where Tibalt works, and he will work well.

I would also consider dropping blue altogether. You only have it for Swans of Bryn Argoll and Forced Fruition . Both are solid cards, but running 19 lands I wouldn't expect to play them too often. If you drop blue altogether, you could more easily play Tibalt, and then replace the swan and forced fruition with some spells and creatures to protect you. Right now the way your deck plays without removal you are getting beaten over the head and hope you deal the most damage first.
September 16, 2013 6:06 p.m.
I think I'll replace the Veinfire Borderpost s with a Martyr of Ashes , 2 Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded s and a land. That way I'll only lose one red permanent, push myself up to 8 wraths (sort of), and stay at 20 lands.
I'd like to keep blue in this deck simply because of how powerful Swans of Bryn Argoll and Forced Fruition can be. A fourth-turn Swans of Bryn Argoll will either dissuade my opponent from attacking or offer enormous damage potential, and by the time I play a Forced Fruition , it should read "Whenever an opponent plays a spell, that player loses the game."
I ran 4 Bloodhall Ooze in a previous version of this deck, but without green they were never able to get big enough fast enough to be anything other than chump blockers.

You have no idea how happy I am that you decided to use Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded . I get very excited whenever I see the little tyke used effectively.

You may want to consider adding some basic lands because of things like Path to Exile and Ghost Quarter

I keep getting notifications for this deck, so I keep coming back to look at it. (Not complaining.) But one thing that keeps bothering me is you are 100% into killing them by forcing them to draw cards. The problem is, this takes a while, and you have NO way of keeping yourself alive for that long, other than Damnation . But a playset of board wipes will still leave yourself open to a lot of damage before you hit 4 mana, and a lot more after you cast it and have to rely on drawing another.
I would consider dropping completely or just reducing the amount of some of the less powerful cards for this combo, those being: Underworld Dreams , Forced Fruition (I said this in my first comment, I still don't like it since it is such a high drop and you only run 20 lands), and Toil / Trouble .
I don't like Toil / Trouble because, unlike all of your other "force to draw cards" it doesn't allow you to draw cards too. So, while it does deal a decent amount of damage to the opponent for 3 mana, it gives them a good amount of card advantage over you. And card advantage ends games.

Yeah I agree that Toil / Trouble looks to be a better finisher, it fits some of the flavor as well.
This just came into my head, what about cards like Jace Beleren or others that cause yourself and your opponent to draw like the Temple Bell you already have?
You get a +1 from me I love the deck!
