Ah, no I had not thought about Moonveil Dragon! 6CMC is a little steep but I think I'll have to try it out.
True, Mutavault doesn't trigger the abilities itself but it increases the power of those abilities.
*Example: You have Dragon Tempest and Mutavault on the battlefield, you're about to play Slumbering Dragon. If you just play the Dragon you get 1 damage off Tempest but if you turn Mutavault into a creature before you play the Dragon you get 2 damage. Small difference but it's a nice little trick to have up your sleeve.
Thanks for the thoughts and suggestions!

I don't think manamorphose is the right Thing to get in this deck as it's more of a card to storm than getting less card in a deck. Maybe you should change it fore a card that you'll actualy use like 2 more Dragon Tempest, 1 more Slumbering Dragon and 1 more Taurean Mauler as it's a good treath to deal with I believe and since the fact that you,ll have more dragon's in the deck those 2 Dragon Tempest will be worth.

I do really like that Manamorphose does some thinning and fixing but you might be right. While I'd be ok with an extra Slumbering Dragon and Taurean Mauler I think adding anymore Dragon Tempests is not a good idea, I'd have a playset of Tempest if the ability was stackable but it's not. I might try 3 Tempest at most, I've also been thinking about trying out Apostle's Blessing; any thoughts?

I really like Crucible of Fire the problem with the card is how slow it is. without an immediate impact on it's own is hard to justify. (I might try one copy as some point just because I want it to be good, haha)

I think Sarkhan's Triumph should be in here so you can grab the need Dragon for the specific task

CSchademann: Does the Dragon Tempest "Whenever a Dragon enters the battlefield" ability really not stack if you have more of them on the battlefield?

I could have that wrong (if I do I'll be adding 2 more immediately!) but I think the way it's worded specifically "... it [the Dragon] deals X damage to target creature or player...". I'm pretty sure that because the card is having the dragon deal the damage upon ETB it can't have that ability more than once. If it was worded like Thunderbreak Regent, so the Dragon Tempest was doing the damage, then it would be stackable and way more awesome. Again, I could have that totally wrong but I haven't had anyone say otherwise so far.

axeltt012 & XTrinX: I did a little homework and it looks like the general consensus is Tempest does stack. I don't know where I got it in my head that it doesn't stack but good news is that the card is better than I thought! Someone also pointed out that the wording on Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest is about the same, so, I guess I'm dumb. haha.Anyway thanks for the suggestions/inquires, Deck changes to come soon!

elemental bonds and magma jets for 4 lava spikes. Magma jets are just worse than lava spikes and elemental bonds is too slow for modern.

Also you should have a full playset of stomping grounds. Also you should remove hunter's insights for more Atarka's commands or birds of paradise, because your deck seems very slow and could use more ramp along with burn. Also Blood Moon is more of a sideboard card. I suggest putting that in the side and removing the mutagenic growths for desperate rituals to get your dragons out earlier.

I think you're right about Elemental Bond being too slow for modern and I've been thinking about replacing it and Magma Jet with something new but I'm pretty sure Lava Spike just isn't the right card. I say it's not the right card because it only hits players and most of the time I'm using Jet to burn early game creatures and this deck can't really afford more spells that don't interact with my opponents board. You're also probably right about getting more copies of Stomping Ground even though it doesn't feel like I have any issues with mana, more probably wouldn't hurt, and correct about moving Blood Moon to the sideboard as well. If I end up splashing then I'll definitely consider running Birds of Paradise in place of Mutagenic Growth/Vines of Vastwood. I've run Desperate Ritual in the past and it has been very hit or miss I'm very hesitant to try and go down that road again. Thanks for the recommendations!

Just a couple suggestions from the R/G dragon deck that I run. Dragon Broodmother: you should consider running 2-4 copies of this card; it has crazy synergy with Scourge of Valkas and Dragon Tempest. Utvara Hellkite : Combined with the tokens from above, a 1/1 baby dragon will make a 6/6 dragon just from attacking; activating Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas. Descendants' Path: this card is kind of finicky, but can produce amazing results when it works. Doubling Season: this card is bananas if you decide to run cards like Utvara Hellkite and Dragon Broodmother. Balefire Dragon clears the board and Thundermaw Hellkite opens the gates for your fliers.
I also agree with Thephelddagrif about the ramp; i believe that if you have a fast consist ramp, you don't need as much burn/thinning since you'll just outpace them.
For ramp I'd suggest:Arbor Elf Somberwald Sage Sakura-Tribe Elder and possibly Utopia Sprawl

As an extra note about the cards i mentioned for ramp. T1: Forest > Arbor Elf T2 Stomping Ground/Forest > Tap to play Utopia Sprawl on the untapped land > Untap land with Arbor Elf > tap to play Somberwald Sage T3 You have 8 mana to use without playing another land. I also forgot to suggest Harmonize over Hunter's Insight.

SKUFFLEZ Thank you for all the recommendations. I think of those cards listed the one I'll consider the most is Dragon Broodmother. I think the changes you've suggested are all very good but unfortunately just not what I'm looking at doing with this deck. The strategy of ramping into dragons is tried and true and you'll find tons of those all over Tappedout, especially those that wish to take advantage of Crucible of Fire & Doubling Season. Thanks again for all the suggestions!

Your description is a little bit off. Dragon Tempest doesn't give Taurean Mauler haste since it doesn't have flying.

I wish I could upvote this deck more than once. It looks so cool. I love all these instants giving you so many options to adapt to your opponent.I playtested your deck a couple of times and most often I do pretty good. The only problem I encountered was mana. You seem to dislike Dragonlord's Servant, I wonder why that is?
Lastly, I played with the possibility of you running a few Birds of Paradise... With Dragon Tempest you basically get a free creature and it helps mana in between turns 2-4. (Also with your Vines of Vastwood turning it into an unexpected threat?!)

Just came across this card Khalni Heart Expedition and thought about your "thinning" lands giving you the possibility to play 2 lands in a turn, with possibly 3 lands with Atarka's Command on turn 3. Given the right cards, this would then result in 6 lands in turn 4 giving you a huge advantage and also counter land destruction. Well, this is all I can think of to improve anything about your deck.
