This deck's wincon is to either kill with beating down with my efficient creatures or ramp up my devotion and then kill the opponent with a massive Gray Merchant activation.

I'm not including Dark Confidant, Tarmogoyf or Liliana of the Veil because I don't have them and they'll be hard to trade for. I'm aware they would increase the deck's power a lot but I would need to slowly trade for them.

I could include Erebos, God of the Dead but I'm not too impressed with it and I think Phyrexian Obliterator and Graveborn Muse are better 4-drops for this deck.

I'm trying to mostly use cheap cards or cards I already have or can easily trade for - the 3 Marsh Flats are in there because I have them and because they're great with Deathrite Shaman for example.

Sideboard explanation:

2x Abrupt Decay because they're just generally great at killing a lot of problem cards in matchups especially Tarmogoyf and Dark Confidant.

3x Duress because they're great against control.

2x Maelstrom Pulse to deal with things that Abrupt Decay can't get.

3x Relic of Progenitus as the obligatory graveyard hate.

3x Smallpox to complement Fulminator Mage in the mainboard as land destruction.

2x Sign in Blood as cheap early card draw. Not sure about how much this deck needs these - needs testing.
