Maybe Stonehoof Chieftain? Although I know this one is a little more costly.

Then there is of course Duelist's Heritage if you want more cards like Rafiq of the Many. It's even in the Breed Lethality deck if you remember it!

I'd remove Quietus Spike, its kinda meh for voltron.

You should check out Civic Saber if you want another Conqueror's Flail buff.

The Karmic Guide combo is cool, but I don't know that it's necessary in a deck like this. This is voltron, and sure, you can tutor up combo pieces, or you can just attack and win.

I'd cut Ashnod's Altar, doesn't seem to do much. Also think about replacing the battle lands with something else, with only 5 basics I'm not sure how often they'll be entering untapped

You seem to have two deck syndrome going on here. With a 4 (and even mote so a 5) colour deck, you really need go streamline your theme. Running a backup combo is good, but not when it provides little to no synergy with the rest of the cards and takes up that many slots.

The other thing is that the more "backup" combo you add to your deck, the more you will just win via it instead.

As for stuff to cut - you have too many swords. Sword of War and Peace seems underwhelming here, as does Quietus Spike and your infect package. Yes, I know it works with the commander however it will end up holding the deck back.

Also, I think you need more low end ramp. You have a bit but it feels a bit too thin.

Have you thought of Final Judgment as another board wipe, since it gets around indestructible?

With all the swords you have in your Deck, you could add a Trophy Mage

If you want to make Atraxa really bigger, you could include Cradle of Vitality

I know you don't want to use proliferate but... maybe Crescendo of War could fit your theme anyway ;) It would be great here to make Atraxa bigger ;)

If my suggestions have helpeld you, take a minute to comment my deck : Emrakul : no legs but nice boots ! ;)

Aw based on the title, I thought this was gonna be based around effects like Concerted Effort and Odric, Lunarch Marshal.

So just because you don't want to /focus/ on your proliferate mechanic doesn't mean you don't still have it. Sigil of Distinction is a perfect card for this deck. Play it for whatever you want, and it gets bigger each turn. The option to dump a ton of mana into it to super-pump Atraxa is quite enticing, and it's equip cost is mitigated by your commander's ability. This card was basically made for voltron Atraxa

I'll also throw in Coalition Relic and Astral Cornucopia as possible mana-ramp.

Hyena Umbra may also do you some good. Cheap, gives first strike (for your deathtouch), and totem armor.

Sorry I'm spreading this out over so many comments. I like the Atraxa voltron idea so much I just keep on looking up things for it. I'll probably end up building one at this point.

Anyhow, the suggestion: Opal Palace. It's a way to get an initial counter on her. And I know you aren't focused on her proliferate, but when it works with her voltron, I'd say use it since you got it. Opal Palace is also mana-fixing, and it rewards you for each successive cast, which will likely prove useful as voltron commanders draw the kill spells pretty quickly.

Anyhow, love the deck.

Magical Hacker- Odric is already in the list.

JaysomeDecks- You've made some good points and I didn't know Sigil of Distinction was even a thing

Have you considered the 2 color enchantments from eventide? All the combinations are pretty impactful especially Steel of the Godhead and Shield of the Oversoul.

I have but I'm sticking more to the equipment and protection from color theme. Spot removal is everywhere in my group.

Tainted Strike? Target Hydra Omnivore, end step you win?

February 6, 2017 7:05 p.m.

it was already in here and cut. Grafted Exoskeleton serves the same idea

As a Bruna, Light of Alabaster main, I dig this style of deck.

February 19, 2017 7:25 p.m.

I removed Odric as he was underwhelming

Cadois- Thanks!

Forced Adaptation, Predatory Hunger, Sunbond, Sadistic Glee, Ring of Evos Isle, Ring of Kalonia, Ring of Thune, and Ring of Xathrid could be good voltron cards that also utilize the proliferate mechanic.

Not interested in any of the enchantments, Focusing on the sword theme as stated above. I would also like to avoid using her proliferate ability as stated in the description. Thanks for looking at the deck!
