I really like this idea, especially Agoraphobia + Simic Manipulator . Never seen that one before.

If you can, maindeck Desecration Demon . It's a great card. I would take out Time Ebb to put him in, and maybe take out Herald of Torment for Stolen Identity or Lazav, Dimir Mastermind , or even a Simic Manipulator and Agoraphobia . The Herald is a good card, but Desecration Demon can fufill the aggro role better.

As a suggestion, take out the Clones and replace them with Evil Twin .+1

Thanks for the comment roy1349. However, I don't think Evil Twin is Standard legal (I might be wrong though). You're right though, he'd be pretty cool here.

Looks really fun. But I wonder what happens when you go against creatureless decks :P Crushing defeat?

Haha, that'd probably be a pretty weird and rather one-sided match.

I personally think that Griptide is better than Time Ebb . Being able to bounce the creature at instant speed is worth the extra mana.

I'll have to see about that. I'll replace them for now, and see how they work.

Really love your deck. Since you're a control deck, try AEtherling , it's a lot better than Desecration Demon , as he gets removed way to easily. AEtherling even beats other control decks, provided you can somehow get him out. Also maybe a few counterspells to stop other control decks from playing their wincon?

@CTalentedYouther

Thanks dude! AEtherling is a great suggestion, I'll swap it. Fits the curve a lot better. As for counterspells, I'll have to find a few good ones. Thanks again.

For counterspells, Dissolve and Syncopate are common. Being black-blue, you can also make use of Psychic Strike , which you can then lazav or grim return.

sorry, misread grim return

I'll try both and then see which works better. Probably'll be Syncopate .

Do you mind if I build my own version of this deck? I'll link your page in my description.

I love Rescue from the Underworld and Domestication /Soul Ransom together. Have you considered Abyssal Specter ?

sunnyosrego says... #15

Not Abyssal Specter I emant the u/b u/b 1 one that has a similar effect to Daxos of Meletis

@CTalentedYouther- go ahead, I'm flattered

@sunnyosregoYou mean Nightveil Specter ? I think it will go to the sideboard. Thanks for the comment!

Siren of the Silent Song may also be good in this deck. Looks pretty good +1

@Chanchan-s42

Thanks for the comment. However, Siren of the Silent Song doesn't have any synergy with the other cards of this deck.

Rescue from the Underworld doesnt work with opponents creatures. If you sac there creatures it hits opponents graveyard, not yours.

March 12, 2014 5:43 p.m.

If I were you, I would sideboard in Dark Betrayal so you can deal with pesky black decks. Just a thought, though. Great deck! +1

i really like the idea behind this deck, but i don't really feel like Rescue from the Underworld is that effective here. I do see the bonus of dodging a removal with it like you mentioned but since it only targets your graveyard you can only pull back in one of the 4 creatures you have because when your stolen creatures die they will go the your opponents graveyard
