@Maxread: Thank you :) Though I do believe you forgot the +1 part XD

@Demarge: I have testplayed it against my modern decks, and it seems to run well. It struggles here and there, but this was not really designed for tournament play. I originally designed this deck cause it was such a fun idea :3 However, if you have any suggestions to make it better by all means hit me up with them :)

Bramblewood Paragon would be a cheaper alternative to Cytospawn Shambler

Doubling season seems much more effective here than Evolution Vat, or even run both. Otherwise, this is a pretty ridiculously good deck.

Ever considered Undying? With Zameck Guildmage 's ability to take off +1/+1 counters, Young Wolf can be a very effective board stabilizer and Geralf's Mindcrusher can be another win condition.

@TheLameSauce: Might go 1:1 with that, but I prefer the Vats

@pookypuppy6: This isn't an Undying deck though, it's graft. The Guildmage is used as a draw engine. I basically can draw a card for GU for no other cost with Lorescale Coatl out.

Well, I didn't realize this was exclusively a graft deck. Otherwise I don't see why you can't have a bit of Undying in there, even if it's just 4x Young Wolf . And with the Guildmage, the point is to draw cards off the +1/+1 counter and then have a continuous blocker AND incremental advantage , just like with the Lorescale Coatl but in a more defensive manner.

Right but the deck works off of beefing the ever loving shit out of the creatures, then pounding face with huge ass beasts. Zameck was suggested as a card draw option and lets face. Why wait 1 turn to draw 1 card, when I can draw 5-8 cards in one turn, and still wreck face with big beefy creatures? I think that's a better option than just a "draw one and an unkillable creature"

Point is, the Undying creatures aren't needed, esp with how little proliferate there is now.

Proliferate doesn't work with Undying, so that doesn't matter. Also, you can still draw 5-8 cards per turn, just one of them can be off your Undying creature while you draw the rest off your Lorescale Coatl and stuff.

Young Wolf may just be a better fit than Simic Initiate if there is not enough proliferate to make the possibility of multiple counters on the Initiate matter. Early game stability helps you get to the big beats even without the Guildmage.

How does proliferate not work with Undying, esp with Zameck? "Okay he dies, I proliferate, then remove both counters to draw two cards, all while killing your big stuff". Seems more legit to me to do.

The difference there is that when I put more counters on Simic Initiate , I can graft those onto other creatures that come into play. I can't do that with Young Wolf or other creatures with Undying. I'm not saying it is a bad idea, I'm not saying it sucks, I'm just saying, I prefer the current method.
