I agree with you on Preordain and Gamble. Thought Scour is used in my Doomsday setup I can line up 2 creatures in the GY and then draw a Animated Dead for the George Combo.

Updated my deck with Demonic Consultation, Necropotence, and Ad Nausem. I also swapped in Jace, WoM.

Major overhaul of this deck as I was trying to bring the overall power level of this deck down.. I don't play in a super competitive group anymore, so I was trying to make this a more midrange fun deck.
I haven't had a chance to play it very much and I keep tweaking it around. I love to hear some input on the deck list.

I'm debating swapping 2-3 lands for a izzet signet, dimir signet, and a ornithopter of paradise. But I'm unsure if that is a good idea or not.

I'd run Preordain over Impulse, Gamble over Fabricate, and Ancient Excavation over Dark Deal. Thought Scour seems kinda weak overall, and if you could fit a Codex Shredder and a Scrap Mastery to play off each other while dumping into Krark-Clan Ironworks between iterations, I'm sure you'll have a great time.
