Death, Taxes, and Training Grounds

Modern Combo Competitive Tempo WUB (Esper)

hunkers

As a young magic player I had always been impressed with the card Training Grounds even though it seemed to have little to no use in the modern format. Eldrazi Displacer had always been a favorite of mine but I noticed that with Training Grounds the card essentially said 'pay one mana to blink a creature'. This of course made me curious so I decide to build a deck to see what the combo was like and how it would function. The original Skeleton of the deck was similiar to WB Eldrazi Death and Taxes but with Training Grounds. The deck has evolved since then into a deck similar to Splinter Twin but with much less control and the combo does not instantly win the game. Once the combo is assembled the main idea is to simply use to control the game with hand disruption, card advantage, permanent disruption, and potentially straight up winning the game with Drowner of Hope . Fun but not particularly unfair to your opponent.
