Maybeboard

This is an attempt at creating a 'usable' budget Werewolf/Wolf deck for casual play.

Given how spell-aggressive EDH is and keeping in mind the challenges associated, here are the main things this deck can do:

Alright, playing weres in commander is like bringing roller-skates to an ice rink. But we're going to make this work. The only surefire way to accomplish transformations is Moonmist or passing a turn. To aid us in the meantime, we attempt to punish opponents for casting spells with Managorger Hydra , Taurean Mauler , Kambal, Consul of Allocation , and Tovolar's Magehunter . Hermit of the Natterknolls   can also act as a deterrent if he is already flipped, while Vildin-Pack Alpha ensures my weres flip as soon as they enter the battlefield. Yeva, Nature's Herald lets us play during other players turns, which is necessary once we have our one-spell-per-turn limit in place.

Ok, we finally have the weres tranformed. Woohoo! Now we have to keep them that way… The best way to keep weres transformed is with Immerwolf . Shalai, Voice of Plenty and Swiftfoot Boots grant hexproof. We also have Eidolon of Rhetoric and Rule of Law to prevent our opponents from messing up our transformations. Lurking Predators let's us get creatures onto the field without taking up our cast for the turn.

To keep our deck working as smoothly as possible, we need to get the right cards. And since we're on a budget, that means getting creative with our tutors. We have Uncage the Menagerie , Eladamri's Call , and Eldritch Evolution to help us get the creatures we need, namely Immerwolf , Geier Reach Bandit  , and Eidolon of Rhetoric , but also Champion of Lambholt or Wolfir Silverheart if we want to set up.

Here we have Hermit of the Natterknolls  , Silverpelt Werewolf , Beast Whisperer , and Sage of Ancient Lore   to refresh our options when we've seemingly ran out.

Whirlwind lets us clear the board of fliers, this deck's biggest weakness besides, well, spell casting. Utter End , Crackling Doom , and Destructive Revelry make use of destruction. Sun Titan brings back a good chunk of our creatures from the graveyard, especially Immerwolf . Shreds of Sanity (excellent flavour here) and Charmbreaker Devils is included to help us get back our pivotal instants and sorceries, namely Moonmist should we need to reactivate it.
