I have decided to undergo a deckbuilding challenge for myself. I'll be undertaking a virtual 32 deck challenge where I build an EDH deck of every color combination for commander. Additionally, I'll be adding a few other rules for my own personal challenge.

1. Limit the commanders in the top 5 of their combo on EDHrec. There can be some, especially in the cases where the options are limited but you can't just pick the most popular commanders in each color.

2. No repeating partner Commanders. Once you use someone that's it.

3. No repeating full strategies and game goals (There can be some card overlap but generally speaking don't repeat strategies. You get one aristocrats deck for example if you choose that).

4. Try to avoid putting down decks you’ve already built in the past (avoid your actual stable)

5. Just because I won't build these in paper doesn't mean I can lose my mind and jam any cards I want. It has to be something I own or would reasonably buy. For example I own 2 smothering tithe and so can only get that into 2 decks. I don't own any Doubling Seasons and so won't have it in any. My spending limit is around 10 per card usually and for this I will push to 15.

For the mono black deck I've chosen the Haunt of Hightower. As a 6 mana creature that does nothing when it etbs it's definitely lower power and not how I typically play. BUT it's different, it's interesting, it's fun and might provide an enjoyable experience at higher power level tables. This one was surprisingly hard to build and I consider it the first real stumbling block of this project. That said, red might be harder.
