Bounce Jelava on and off the battlefield to shrink your opponents' decks while gaining access to your powerful instant and sorcery spells. You will be taking more mulligans than normal, as you want to keep expensive spells in your deck for Jelava to use. Get used to seeing your permanents get exiled, knowing that the same thing is happening to your enemies. Increasing Ambition, Brainstorm, Prophetic Bolt, Index, and spells with scry will help to put permanents in your hand and Jelava fuel at the ready. You will have access to plenty of removal in damage and destroy spells, so use bounce spells to bring Jelava back into your hand, especially if she gets locked down by an enchantment. Spells that send cards back to the top of the deck combo with Jelava's entrance to exile nasty permanents. Use Mirari, Nivix Guildmage, and Uyo, Silent Prophet to copy expensive spells. It doesn't matter if Jelava actually hits, so save defender dodging spells for vampires like Markov Blademaster and Falkenrath Exterminator. If you find your hand full of spells you can't afford, toss them to Mercurial Chemister to blow up large threats. Keep bringing back Jelava and busting through defenders to grow your vampires, and eventually you'll reach Army of the Damned, Cruel Ultimatum, or Sorin's Vengeance.
