Oona's Prowler accomplishes both goals of the deck.

Ik dark is not modern legal but the others are and they can work well if i have mostly creatures in my hand so ill think about those

AshenRider i made some edits to the deck so what you think of it now?

You can Sideboard Dark Betrayal . Skullcrack would ruin anyone's chance of pulling into mid-late game. Spike Jester is an equally amazing 2 drop. Although Pain Magnification exceeds your mana curve, it puts the hurt on your opponent

The mainboard looks solid. I think its time to incorporate the maybeboard with the sideboard.

Usually a Sideboard covers what the mainboard doesn't. In your case defense. Defense Grid , Circle of Flame . OOOOOOH!!!! I FOUND Rain of Gore !!!!

I def like rain but flame and grid dont help too much if anything grid hinders my deck because surgical nd exterpate want to interupt up at the end of their turn if able to.

Good Point. Rain of Gore is funny... especially with Congregate 's rules text...

Thunderous Wrath would be good provided its not in your opening hand.

May 17, 2014 1:14 a.m.

Jamesfurrow says... #10

Hm thunderous i have two of but if draw if from brow beat i cant miracle it so its a vrery risky card with its normal mana curve... Miracle decks work with blue very well because of how much scry and cards such as ponder can simply arange them to definitly trigger

May 17, 2014 11:12 a.m.

AshenRider says... #11

Browbeat happens after your draw step... so yeah. Its risky. Deviant Glee maybe?

May 17, 2014 4:51 p.m.

Jamesfurrow says... #12

I have glee but if i was to use an enchantment i think id use Madcap Skills due to making it harder to block my early aggro

May 17, 2014 8:04 p.m.

AshenRider says... #13

I guess so... but that costs one more mana. I guess your right though.

May 17, 2014 9:15 p.m.

Jamesfurrow says... #14

Also for glee to be effective id keep paying r for trample so it constantly be tapping my mana on that rather than for discard or other creatures

just saying, Painful Quandary and Quest for the Nihil Stone . i run these two in a demon deck i have that plays a lot of disruption as well. They work amazingly well.

HungryWampa says... #16

and then throw in Liliana's Caress if you have room. Its one NASTY loop

May 22, 2014 2:39 p.m.

AshenRider says... #17

While I happen to love those enchantments, his deck is too fast paced for that. Quest for the Nihil Stone is easy to avoid unlike shrieking affliction, by keeping a land in your hand. Rakdos Cackler might work.

Jamesfurrow says... #18

AshenRider I have cackler and he is not bad but I think vault was the better choice due to evasion and can still block while giving me life..I ll see how they do in my budget version though

May 22, 2014 7:49 p.m.

Jamesfurrow says... #19

HungryWampa your suggestions are not bad at all just as ashenrider said to slow for my deck's goal to be an aggressive control though Liliana's Caress might prove to be worth looking into so thank you for showing me the card

HungryWampa says... #20

yeah, you're right there. i like to run playsets of Sol Ring and Dark Ritual so it always comes out really fast for me, along with my Demons, but i always forget that part of it when i suggest it.

HungryWampa those would make those cards get out very quickly lol. hey im also trying my hands on my very first edh deck if you like to take a look at it and I think your all going to notice I simply just love black and red since roughly half of my decks are that color. Rakdos edh fun is the deck and please have a look and give suggestions to it but try to keep them under 10 dollars since I am making the deck for fun more than anything else. also +1 if you like it I always appreciate them

I question the Rakdos Charm ... wouldn't the purpose be just as easily accomplished through Bojuka Bog ?

June 4, 2014 11:38 p.m.

AshenRider says... #23

Add in more Thoughtsieze and Shocklands for Death's Shadow

June 4, 2014 11:41 p.m.

AshenRider says... #24

You already have a playset of Inquisition of Kozilek mainboarded, and there's one in your sideboard.

June 4, 2014 11:46 p.m.

Jamesfurrow says... #25

Death's Shadow is a suicide card because I'll simply die in order for it to be effective and Rakdos Charm is virsitial I other ways in situations such as large fields of one drops such as goblin guides and cackles and such. Also it lets me destroy an artifact if need be.
