Maybeboard

It's a mono-blue spellslinger artifact deck that wins with tokens and +1/+1 counters. Who isn't gonna want to play against me?

I really don't think this deck is that evil though, aside from maybe 8 different counterspells. I mean, there's no infinite combos, no countertop, and it's budget so there's no Cyclonic Rift or Force of Will, and it wins through combat so how bad could it be? No, this is just a silly gimmick deck looking to take advantage of the fact that Deekah, Fractal Theorist cares about mana value of spells and not how much mana was spent to cast it. This deck is loaded with spells that reduce their own cost or can be cast for some alternate cost. So, why the artifacts? Well, what are some good ways to reduce spell cost in mono-blue? Affinity. Improvise. Metalcraft sometimes. Plus, with so many high mana value spells and a commander starting at 5 mana, I'm going to need a lot of mana rocks anyway. It just works out really nice and it helps to make this stand out amongst the many several other Deekah decks out there... because they're rampant, and numerous, and don't give a crap about artifacts for some reason! What self-respecting deckbuilder wouldn't dedicate over 20 deck slots to artifact synergies in order to reduce the cost of 5 spells? It makes total sense.

Anyway this is all just an excuse to put Sphinx-Bone Wand in a deck.
