You might want to put in Quest for Ula's Temple and Fishliver Oil . The first gets your monsters out easier and the second lets them attack when Stormtide surfaces.

I was going to Suggestion the same as Wolfpackdude with the Quest for Ula's Temple . However, I have forgotten about Fishliver Oil . and with a card like Quest for Ula's Temple this deck will become someone's nightmare.

I switch out all of you Wall of Frost & Talrand's Invocation . And take your Instants down to 12.
Then would add 3 to4 Quest for Ula's Temple .and add 1to2 Shipbreaker Kraken .and sideboard at least 3x Spreading Seas or something similar . For when up against non-blue deck.
With running Quest for Ula's Temple you will want to keep your Creature count high. So, you will want at least 22 of them. You will also want to get Quest for Ula's Temple out early game. Turn one, If able Or play two of them at once. So, your opponent may only counter one of them. But, all this is kinda basic.
If you have Quest for Ula's Temple & Shipbreaker Kraken in the same deck. Dont ever spend the mana on Shipbreaker Kraken . Instead, use Quest for Ula's Temple. And save the mana for its Monstrosity cost.
Tip: try to buy all Quest for Ula's Temple that you want at once. Its a low costing card and goes quick.

You NEED Grozoth in here. Once you play one with the quest you can start playing them every turn and quickly win.

Jacques I would say he could use a Grozoth too. However, the deck is full at this point. and while Grozoth isn't a bad nor good card. And its one of the really nice mid-ground cards. In how good it is. cakrause86 needs to question. How strong Creature is or powerful a card is? Before switching it out .
At the same time. I could see. Grozoth being really good on the side lines. And being switch out with Spreading Seas For when hes up against another blue deck. Unless he really wants that extra card draw. But, theres one drops that could do that.

cakrause86 That's cool. I have a goblin and dragon deck that is like that. and I find more often then not. The funniest decks to play. Become the strongest.

I just wanna say, after seeing those "your opponent must have an island" type creatures, I'm loving this deck as I never really put the time or effort to see it work.

I helped my friend with his Quest for Ula's Temple deck. The only think Is Stormtide Leviathan outshines most of the other creatures since its not a card but a wincon 90% of the time. In addition to the 4x Fog Bank he had 4x Wall of Frost for defenders with Cryptoplasm for versatility. then loaded the deck with scry such as Mystic Speculation , Cryptic Annelid and the Halimar Depths . One thing to play around with is Mind Unbound for late game card draw. Quest for ula decks are always fun to mess around with.

I like some of those cards, but don't really know what to put in/take out.
December 25, 2013 7:34 p.m.
I can help you with what to take out. You only want the exclusively good creatures to be put into play with your temple.
This takes out Harbor Serpent and Serpent of the Endless Sea immediately. Now you must decide what you actually want your ending creatures to be.
I advise for more scry such as Omenspeaker , a great blocker plus gives a great amount of scry for the cost.

Deep-Sea Kraken ... I could only imagine the shenanigans involved in this deck if he were in it...
Suspend for 3 mana- wait til opponent casts spells or nine turns... instead of waiting for 10 mana... kinda crazy, I know but a 6/6 unblockable sea monster fits in wit your theme... +1 all the same.

cakrause86 I don't know if you still use this deck. But, if you do. you have to check out Whelming Wave from Born of the Gods. It could be a game changer with this deck.
