Deck number 2 for the challenge: Ye Olde Deckbuilding Challenge #5: Fallen Empires.

Who doesn't love lobster??? Your opponent won't after you smash their face repeatedly with a giant one!!! Old school reanimator: Hymn to Tourach, Ring of Renewal , or just get to 8 cards and discard yourself so that you can Soul Exchange for a fatty...

When given the choice always let your opponent have the play. Nut hand when on the draw: T1 Draw, end turn, discard Deep Spawn . T2: swamp, Initiates of the Ebon Hand , T3: swamp/island, Soul Exchange , reanimate Deep Spawn , sac Initiates of the Ebon Hand . T4: let the face smashing begin!

If you start with Ebon Praetor instead of Deep Spawn , don't bring Ebon Praetor back too soon! You need the sacrifice power up and running to be able to maintain his power, otherwise he's wasted and you'll be d-e-a-d.

Alternative strategy (e.g. when on the play or a bad draw): use the Breeding Pit to establish a wall until the big threats ( Deep Spawn or Ebon Praetor can enter play.

I'm looking forward to this challenge. Fallen Empires was the first set to come out when I first started playing MTG.
