Deflecting Rath

Legacy* Multiplayer

Decay57

Sideboard

This deck is based around Dictate of the Twin Gods (double damage effects) in conjunction with damage redirection such as Deflecting Palm. With one dictate out a single Deflecting Palm will redirect 4 times the damage back to the attacking player.

I'm not so sure about Captain's Maneuver. I wanted another redirect spell that I could target a creature or player with and that was both white and red to take advantage of Balefire Liege. I haven't been overly impressed with it so far due to how mana intensive it is.

This has turned into one of my favorite decks not because of how dominant it is (it loses it's fair share) but because of how nail biting so many of the games become. It's pretty intense. Numerous times I've been faced with lethal damage on the stack (or on the attack) and found a way to redirect the damage to instead kill them or gain just enough life to live and then turn right around and kill them off.
