Um, hate to burst your bubble but baron has pro black :l So here I am recommending it. If your meta is full of B/W and aggro then he is what you need to rule.

no Assemble the Legion + Purphoros, God of the Forge ?

JustMeHunter I don't like them because this isn't an aggro deck at all when you run Assemble the Legion in my area it tends to get put to shame with all the swarm in my area. And I don't like Purphoros, God of the Forge unless its in a token spam/super aggro deck where I'm dropping a creature every turn and I can get him out by turn 3 in other decks.

I just like cutesy thing, on a serious note, ive seen alot of standard UWR control decks run Assemble the Legion as a win con, its an ever growing force that is only trumped by enchantment removal.

Which almost every person who is running red or green is going to get rid of at my locals. Yes it is a win con but I don't like it because they will have ten creatures to my one by the time I have it out.

Ok, here goes.

I need to know which kind of deck you want to run/pilot ? - because there's like 3 different deckstyles in here. You got burn, aggro in form of Pack Rat and Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch and you got heavy creature control. Which makes it vulnerable to too many kinds of deck style.

My suggestion, as you say that you current meta is packed with aggro and Orzhov control (?), is that you need to settle your style first. Pack Rat is a work-around-card, and I see the combo with Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch , but against aggro and control, those two cards really aren't that usefull. Blood Witch is scary in an normal aggro deck, Pack Rat is awesome against creature hate. So settle your deck style, you can't successfully run all those features.

First of all, if you wanna counter aggro, you need burn/combo style'd deck, if you wanna counter control, you need aggro or something to protect your cards against control. And you can't have 18 lands with avg. cmc on 2,86, that just wont work, at all. you need 22 lands, with that cmc. What is your wincon ? You need a primary and a secondary.

Dark Betrayal , Glare of Heresy , Merciless Eviction and Rakdos Charm is sideboard material. Understanding how the sideboard works, is your key to victory. The match is usually won with the sideboard! And in a deck like this, it's your best friend.

Assemble the Legion is so strong against red/black aggro. But sideboard material, unless you wanna play it as secondary wincon.

Blood Baron of Vizkopa IS you choice of creature against black/white, which is orzhov control and black/white aggro. So burst your bubble of ignorance and use it, he is your best friend against your meta.

Against your meta, planeswalkers won't help you much.

It's your choice, but I might suggest working around burn/combo, with these cards, as primary keycards; Warleader's Helix , Magma Jet , Boros Charm , Pack Rat , Thoughtseize and Blood Baron of Vizkopa - you might even use Obzedat, Ghost Council . In a deck designed to counter your meta, you are midrange too lategame decktyped. So stop denying yourself heavy creatures like the two badboys you didn't want to be suggested :-)

Ok AlphaAuthority my first win con is is Elspeth, Sun's Champion . She helps me win games by her abilities and she also keeps creatures to a minimum with her -3. She also generates tokens which is a huge plus since no one at my locals runs tokens.

Win con 2: Pack Rat and Exava, Rakdos Blood Witch

The both of them combined do damage by turn 2 or 3 which is key for this deck. This is a creature control deck. Do whatever you can suggest please do so.

Before I help you further, do you agree or disagree on the stuff I've pointed out, or am I wasting time trying to convince you to change your deck a bit :-)

I would love to help you, I really would. But doing so requires a bit action from your side as well. If you agree on some of the points I've pointed out, make the changes in your deck. You can ALWAYS make a copy of you deck as it is of now, and change it back, if you don't like what it have become.

You need to argument either for or against. Or I can't see if you read and understood it, or just don't care :-)

4x Thoughtseize , 3x Blood Baron of Vizkopa , 4x Warleader's Helix , 4x Pack Rat , 4x Boros Charm , 4x Magma Jet , 2x Mutavault , 2x Assemble the Legion . 4x Hero's Downfall and 4x Deathrite Shaman . Scrap the rest of your deck, it's either sideboard material, or doesn't really benefit this setup. As you will go with Brun/aggro-combo deck style.

AlphaAuthority sorry about getting back to you so slowly I'm currently sick and not feeling too hot xd. I did make those changes so it is only a prototype for now. What else would you suggest?

Still some cards which are misplaced, for now.

Add 4x Shock , 4x Boros Reckoner

Take out those two Desecration Demon , to easy to put in lockdown, and everyone sideboard against it - Dark Betrayal or just tap it out.

Ok, if you haven't seen the combo yet, I'll explain it to you here.

Burn with cheap spells/sorcs, shock them with Deathrite. Don't focus on creatures at first, fear not, they'll eventually fear you in return tenfold. If you get low, burn them with Warleader's Helix . Getting overwhelmed ? This is where Mutavault and Pack Rat comes in. Mutavault counts as a rat, and you can just discard a card and surprise them. A 1/1 rat can turn into 2x 3/3 and one 2/2, for a strong block or suicidal block, creatures fuck em', you don't need to hold on to them. You'll gladly exchange. Because when Boros Reckoner hits the field you are almost guaranteed to have them suffer for 3 dmg at some point. If this isn't working, let Assemble the Legion and Blood Baron of Vizkopa ruin their day.

Sideboard; 4x Skullcrack to counter Grey and other pesky cards, 2x Mizzium Mortars , 2x Hero's Downfall , 2x Anger of the Gods , 2x Glare of Heresy , 3x Wear / Tear

Good combo with Boros Reckoner would be; block with him, burn him with Shock , (if he would die ofc) exile shock with Deathrite Shaman and he'll take 7 dmg right there. For 2 mana and a sacrifice.

Put in 3x Sacred Foundry , take out 1 plains and 2 swamps.

Ok I've playtested it a few times now, seems really good against most ramp, junk, naya, aggro decks - control would be a pain, as they would just need to sphere or counter your wincons, and sphinx the burn. But changes those 3 lands, and you should be ready to playtest - we could meet up on UnTap.in and give it a shoot :-)
