Are you sure that 18 lands are really enough? You could be really fucked over if you do not draw your third land... Honor of the Pure also seems very lacklust with only 11 creatures able to affect and maybe the Elspeth tokens if oyu reach 6 mana.

LordDerrien I have been thinking about what you said all day long. You're right about the 18 lands, and Honor of the Pure. I found the solution for both by removing all three copies of honor. Then boarded back in my Spear of Heliod and two more Plains. Then put in my new Kytheon, Hero of Akros Flip I got from my Fat Pack today into the sideboard. Giving me a perfect 20-30-40 Mana Curve.
Thank you so much for the advice!

This is a really cool deck idea with a great suite of cards in it to battle multiple different deck types. However, your mana base is absolutely terrible. I've tried playtesting your deck against many of my decks and every single time have come up mana-screwed. 20 mana just isn't enough for a deck with an average CMC of 2.60. Also, why use Emeria? That card is only useful if you have 7 plains in play as well as Emeria, meaning you would have to have at least 8 lands in play. Given that you only have 12 plains in the entire decks, this situation seems like it would almost never happen, and so Emeria becomes a dead draw 99% of the time. With the cards you're running I would suggest having around 22-23 lands in the deck, and definitely take out Emeria.
Other than that, it's a really cool deck.

I like the Titan, Hatebear approach. I've been aquiring most of the cards for Emeria Titan control so it wouldn't take much for me to get some bears. Question, what happens if you cast silence in response to your opponet casting a spell? Does thier spell fizzle and go to GY, or back to hand?

@JAIL_HOUSE If you cast Silence in return for a spell that is alreay on the stack, it means that card has been cast. Silence prevents casting, and does not counter spells.
Silence is actually much like a condom in that regard. Using it, after something happens is kinda silly.

Hahaha Derrien spot on analogy. Yeah, the point of silence is to play it immediately on their upkeep, buying you a turn. Imprint it on Isochron, and repeat forever.

what about Silkwrap or Stasis Snare over Oblivion Ring

@celebate69 The problem with Silkwrap is, that is pure standard fooder. There are cards in modern like Journey to Nowhere, that are just straight up better.
Stasis Snare is at least unique, compared to Silkwrap, but it is questionable, if instant speed on an only creature-exiling Banishing Light is worth it. Path to Exile does the same job without a way back for the creature and Banishing Light deals with everything, that is not a land.
In conclusion it just comes down to the point, that there is better removal, becaus it is less expensive, much more durable (permanent Stasis Snare vs. one-time cast Path to Exile) and broader in its targeting range.

Also O-ring hits everything on the board. The "Swiss Army Knife" of removal. I can enchant my own permanents as well as my opponents.

Fiendslayer Paladin is only good when you pair him with Knight of Meadowgrain, and really push the lifelink.
Thanks for the dig :)
