This is my demon combo deck, it is not quite competetive, but still very fun to play and can win various match ups as the opponent have no clue what is going on and will misjudge the value of your Shadowborn Apostles and try to kill them off or think you wont mass block with them.

So i saw Secret Salvage and my mind instantly thought of Relentless Rats , i thought about it and it would only be a turn 5 handfill good but not so good that i wanted to aquire tons of Relentless Rats . Then i thought about Shadowborn Apostle which i had a ton of in my online collection because i drafted m14 a lot. Then an other card I earlier had tried building a deck around Mortal Combat . So i made a deck with Shadowborn Apostle, Mortal Combat and search spells to get Mortal Combat and Secret Salvage , just drawing all my Shadowborn Apostle and discarding with the cleanup phase at the end turn, hoping i would survive for Mortal Combat to go off. No surprise, it worked almost never. I just kept playing with the deck, adding and replacing cards every 2 or 3 games, i ended up with Gray Merchant of Asphodel as the main win condition, downgrading Mortal Combat to be a silly sideboard gimmick win method if they have millions of life or some other annoyance that would prevent a win.

The goal is to put more than 20 Shadowborn Apostles out a on the board and then a Gray Merchant of Asphodel. First cast Secret Salvage , this can with luck be done on turn 4 with Crypt of Agadeem, you draw all the Shadowborn Apostles if you have excess mana left over cast as many Shadowborn Apostles as you can, then almost all of them are discarded at the end of the turn, now your Crypt of Agadeem taps for almost 20 mana. The next turn cast Immortal Servitude to return all your Shadowborn Apostles to the battlefield sacrifice 6 of them to put Rune-Scarred Demon onto the battlefield and find Gray Merchant of Asphodel and cast him to kill the opponent.

You dont need more than 3 lands to go off if you get Crypt of Agadeem out, sometime you get to sacrifice Shadowborn Apostle just by getting enough of them out simply by playing them then just use it as a tutor effect with Rune-Scarred Demon for a combo piece. If you play against an aggro deck use your Shadowborn Apostles as blockers and hope to draw Immortal Servitude to get them back and then kill everything with Pestilence Demon
