You could shorten the stalling by adding 4 Augury Owl . Prophetic Prism lets you draw.

Bouncing permanents with Vedalken Mastermind or Faerie Impostor is a slimmer way to get more EtB effects out of your creatures than using clones. If one of those is in your deck, the WU scryland (when it's out) and other lands like Sejiri Steppe or Halimar Depths that have EtB effects become a lot more useful.

I do like the scry from Augury Owl and another flyer would help against flying decks.

I have no need for the any color mana ability from the Prophetic Prism even if it draws me a card.

As for the bouncers vs clones. The bouncers require me to pay the mana again to play them, which can be costly for Stonehorn Dignitary , Sunblast Angel and Sun Titan where the copies are cheaper and the Phantasmal Image can be brought back by the Sun Titan .

I will most definately be getting the WU scryland for this deck, probably a 2 of. I ran Halimar Depths in the standard version of the deck when Venser, the Sojourner was standard. However, now I feel as if a land coming in tapped during turns 1-5 hurts me big time. But, I will go fish my Halimar Depths back from the depths of my collection and give it a try again.

As for Sejiri Steppe , I think it is better for a more agro deck, seems like it would be very situational for what I am trying to do. Venser, the Sojourner 's -1 would due the same effect.

I forgot to say... Thank you Triforce-Finder for the comments and suggestions :)

I see. In that case, maybe consider bouncing the clone and recast that one. I mainly suggested Prophetic Prism because it can be bounced and recast for any amount of cards that you like. It only makes any sence if it comes with a Vedalken Mastermind . The same is true for Halimar Depths . Vedalken Mastermind can even bounce yoir planeswalkers, what is not as good as a Simic Charm , but will at least allow you to cast them again instead of letting them go to the yard.
Yeah, I think it's clear now that I like the card. :)

To be honest, I wasn't really sure what you actually are trying to do with this deck. All your EtB effects are good and strong by themselves, but I couldn't see a clear goal they are focused on, a point where the strings all run together. I thought you were going for a boosted attack with a single creature because you run Sublime Archangel , therefore the suggestion of Sejiri Steppe . If I got that wrong, it's no wonder the suggestions are a bit off. How do you usually end the game with this deck?

Sorry for the confusion.. it is basically an ETB deck. The deck was built so that Venser, the Sojourner can abuse all of the strong ETB effects and get to ultimate.

I usually end the game with a Sun Titan or Gideon Jura , or with Sublime Archangel and a line of Wall of Omens or other stall creatures. Venser, the Sojourner ulting is also a way I win.

So they're all wincons by themselves, and not necessarily supposed to be working together, thanks for clarifying. Maybe a simple Flicker would have been a better suggestion.

Minor updates:

Added Fated Infatuation and replaced Wall of Denial . The extra copy is nice and scry is always nice. the UUU cost has proven not to be a problem to get.

Added Detention Sphere for an Oblivion Ring . Great for anti-token.

Added a 2 card sideboard for decks which do not target the player. Basically the 2x Leyline of Sanctity gets removed and 2x Stonehorn Dignitary comes in. I have found I have no need for other sideboard options as the deck is pretty flexible otherwise.

This deck has proven to be quite the pain in the ass as a casual deck. I have already started received the "oh your playing thaaat deck" comments.

I am going to get 1-2 more Hallowed Fountains to add to the mana base.

What about Cloudshift and/or Ghostly Flicker for more bounce fun?

Ghostly Flicker is competing with the other 3 cmc cards which would likely be played before flicker.

I have given a lot of thought about Cloudshift but I need to think about what to take out to make room for a few of them. They are great for this deck but I also need to make sure I keep win-cons in place

Thanks MrWar
