What started out as a U/W detain deck as evolved into an Esper control deck. Lots of counter magic with a few late win cons make for good times for me, bad times for the person sitting on the other side of the table.

Updates Add

So I tried the changes out at FNM last week.

Round 1 - G/W Aggro Loss 0-2

Game one I was able to hold off my opponent for most of the game but he caught me a turn late game with no counters and was able to fill his board and I had no response. Game 2 was loss to me missing a trigger with my AEtherling.

Round 2 - R/G Bloodrush Loss 0-2

Both games were over by turn 3 or 4 due to him playing hexproof creature turn one and then bloodrushing with Giant Growth attacks each turn after.

Round 3 - U/W Win 2-0

I was able to control my oppenents board entire game 1, and he dropped after that due to not feeling well.

Round 4 - U/W Heroic Win 2-0

Game one was pretty much a shutdown due to my opponent not getting his draws and my having 2 Assemble the Legion down. Game 2 he did get me down to 2 life, but Elspeth, Sun's Champion was able to win the game overall.

Adding Ral Zarek into the deck did make a difference I felt. I was able to play some spells a turn early with his tap\untap ability and his direct damage did come in handy a couple of times.
