Loads of untap abilities to exploit with Derevi, and lots of tokens to activate it. And apparently it is 100 % competitive, so i guess that is nice.

The main thing is exploiting the untap-abilities of our creatures to give us different advantages. We have some that gives us tokens, so we can further activate Derevi: Pride Sovereign, Thraben Doomsayer, Myr Turbine etc..

We also have some that gives us card-advantage: Archivist , Arcanis the Omnipotent, Oracle's Vault etc.

Then some that act as removal: Beguiler of Wills , Galecaster Colossus etc.

And very important, those who act as ramp, by allowing us to untap mana-stones to use during the next main phase or to cast during combat, either if they are instants or because we have a Leyline of Anticipation or Vedalken Orrery: Mana Vault, Gilded Lotus, Bloom Tender etc.. One more important card to mention here is Crystalline Crawler. It can work as a mana-battery, since we can stack a lot of untap triggers on him, and as each resolves, tap him to put on a +1/+1 counter. Then during the next main phase, simply remove the counters to add mana and cast your spells.

Other fun interactions:

Howling Mine: If we tap this during each of our combats, our opponents won't get to draw, but we will still draw ourselves, as it untaps during our untap step.

Mirri, Weatherlight Duelist: Tapping Mirri will impair our opponents and leave them unable to launch an all-out attack.

Thousand-Year Elixir: Another way of untapping our creatures, but just as importantly it allows them to tap for their abilities the turn they enter the battlefield.

Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation: When we untap our mana-stones during combat, if we have one of these in play, we can stack the untap triggers to add three mana multiplied by the number of connecting attackers, with f.ex. Prismatic Geoscope.

Dismiss into Dream: Allows us to use Derevi as removal, by targeting our opponents' creatures to tap them, and they will have to sacrifice them. This even works on indestructible creatures.

Tamiyo, the Moon Sage: The -2 is just brilliant in this deck
