Tap Synergies

Paradise Mantle, Cryptolith Rite, Song of Freyalise, or Glare of Subdual are easy tap enablers. Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca gives your merfolk something to do.

Kiora's Follower and Fatestitcher can untap on demand. Derevi, Imperial Tactician and Merrow Reejerey have more specific requirements.

Merrow Commerce and Quest for Renewal give pseudo Vigilance and mass untaps. Consider using Seedborn Muse, Wilderness Reclamation, and Bear Umbra.

Wake Thrasher gets dummy thicc when things untap. Veteran of the Depths grows when he taps, and you can give multiple taps using the above.

Combos and Win Cons

Puresight Merrow + Cryptolith Rite, Song of Freyalise, or Paradise Mantle + Thassa's Oracle or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries = exile deck and win

Attacking with Wanderwine Prophets + Stonybrook Schoolmaster gives the opportunity for infinite turns and therefore infinite combats. Abuse islandwalk for smooth sailing.

Speaking of islandwalk: Oboro, Palace in the Clouds + Quicksilver Fountain combo together to lock opponents into only having Islands while mostly leaving you alone. Very nice with Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident.
