Derevi staged a coup and dethroned Roon. I wanted to try her in Roons position to see if she can net me more value as my commander rather than merely being in my 99.

The deck still largely functions as a creature control/toolbox deck with fewer blink effects for ETB/LTB.

It sits somewhere in-between a common derevi stax deck and a toolbox deck. I crafted the deck this way for a reason. Bant has access to fantastic creature tutors and very little outside of that. Hence I attempted to fill the utility slots with creatures and maximiise the relevant tutors thereby increasing the decks reliability. As you will notice many common cards seen in this style of deck are missing such as Tangle Wire and Winter Orb as I can not reliably draw into them when needed. I would much rather draw a tutor and be able to react to the board state than cross my fingers and hope I draw a relevant card.

The deck works quite consistently. I tried not to make redundant card choices with the exception of card draw, accelerators and tutors.
