Now lets get cracking...
For this deck our two main cards are: Ghirapur Orrery and Ramunap Excavator.
Ghirapur Orrery is mainly used for the double land play, which, will allow for multiple options of desert sacrifice abilities like Ramunap Ruins, Hashep Oasis and Ifnir Deadlands early on in the game. Also, Ramunap Excavator allows the "Reserection" of the sacrificed lands. Additionally the draw 3 helps when you have no cards from a double land play, but be carful not to stack 3 Ghirapur Orrery resulting in a 9 card draw witch has been occationally problematic in playtesting. Finally, if the Ghirapur Orrery is helping you opponent more then you, sever ties with it using Abrade or overload them with 12 a draw, almost guarraneing discards.
Ramunap Excavator is to return sacrificed lands back to the battlefield in a extended cycle. The ideal card you want to be using in this loop is Dunes of the Dead but because that reqiures a colored mana and one of the three scarifice deserts: Ramunap Ruins, Hashep Oasis and Ifnir Deadlands, I have also included the Cradle of the Accursed as an alternate option only requiring 3 plain mana.
Cascading Cataracts is to, mid to late game, allow the use of the plain mana sources: Dunes of Dead, Endless Sands, Cradle of the Accursed, Ramunap Ruins, Hashep Oasis and Ifnir Deadlands to be used as colored mana.
Endless Sands may seem like an oddball in a sense there are few creatures in this deck, but it is vital for the "Etraction" of a creature before Hour of Deviation or Star of Extinction resolve saving 1-2 cards before the board wipe.
