"Dune" inspired deck. The initial cards were chosen because of at least a keyword linking them to the books. On top of those the deck evolved around a cycle-value deck.

Lore Show

• Desert, Dunes and Sand: a planet, Arrakis, known as Dune, lands of sands..
• Voice, Sorceress and Matriarch: relatable to the Bene Gesserit, "Now, you come here!" The command whipped out at him. Paul found himself obeying before he could think about it. Using the Voice on me, he thought. He stopped at her gesture, standing beside her knees.
• Spice Melange, Chemistry, Refineries and Harvesters: Paul looked down, saw sand still spewing out of the metal and plastic monster beneath them. It looked like a great tan and blue beetle with many wide tracks extending on arms around it.
• Sandworm, Wurm, mutation: Leto accepted sand trout upon his body and began the conversion into a human-sandworm hybrid
• Nomads and Monks: the Fremen, inhabitants of Dune, The Fremen were supreme in that quality the ancients called "spannungsbogen" which is the self-imposed delay between desire for a thing and the act of reaching out to grasp that thing.
• God, Faith, Prayers: in the sense of the God Emperor of Dune, We Fremen have a saying:"God created Arrakis to train the faithful." One cannot go against the word of God.
• Space-Time alteration and navigation, Prescient beings: for it's the purpose of spice, who controls the spice, controls the Universe

The cards should at least graphically represent one or more keywords, if the keywords are actually written on the card, even better!

Combos and Interactions Show

Equipoise + Sands of Time

Equipoise phases out permanents for each player if he/she controls more than you, Sands of Time has the "skip the untap step" part, meaning those permanents will never phase in. It is a tool to make sure your board doesn't fall too much behind others. Sands of Time is also a bit of a mess to play with and confuses a lot of players who tap/untap in unexpected ways.

Cycling for Value

• Flucturator or New Perspective help you reduce the cycling costs
• Abandoned Sarcophagus lets you play clycled cards
• Ramunap Excavator lets you play cycled lands
• Astral Slide or Drift lets you remove creatures from the game when you cycle a card, you can use this on your creatures to exploit ETB triggers or this is the moment to play Containment Priest , so that the opponent's creatures will not come back into play.
• Minor cycle payoffs in the form of Vizier of Tumbling Sands and Curator of Mysteries : scrying is nice, tapping is niche but gets the job done from time to time

Narset + Teferi's Puzzle Box / Echo of Eons [Removed: Overpowered]

Narset, Parter of Veils let opponents draw only one, so they will lose their hands with either the Teferi's Puzzle Box or Echo of Eons

Earthcraft + Scavenger Grounds [Removed: Overpowered]

This is an old combo where tapping a land generates a creature ( Spawning Grounds ), tapping the creature untaps the land ( Earthcraft ). It is usually done with Squirrel Nest but this is Dune and we need to have desert somewhere on the card! No squirrels on Arrakis, sorry.

Depending on the type of game you want to have, this may be a little over the top as power level
